Right? He had very little screen time and was barely interviewed compared to the rest of the top 20. I noticed that during the last few episodes and it made me really sad. I think tony def could’ve gone up in rank if they gave him proper screen time.
Absolutely, like the only reason I watched the finale was for Tony, because he’s an all rounder and I had a pinch of hope he would make it. The only reason for Tony’s poor screentime is because he’s foreign/Chinese. Like, why would they give him a decent amount of screentime at the beginning but suddenly leave him out. It makes no sense, especially since he got better at speaking Korean throughout the show. It seems like they didn’t want him to debut after they saw his edit at the start made him popular. They also gave poor screentime to other foreigners like YG boys, Anzardi, and PEAK. Never trust MNET.

@@lys3521 From what I've noticed, on the show they were most popular but as the group had more and more activities, members such as Daniel gained a lot more popularity.
S4 wooseok got the highest votes since ep 6, 2nd elimination until the 3rd elimination (if without benefit). For the 2nd elimination he got 1st place with benefit and even without benefit he would still get the 1st place and the difference of 1st place n 2nd place is by 200,000-300,000+. For the 3rd elimination he got the 2nd place since he didn't get the 1st place benefit of his winning group but if excluding benefit points he would get the 1st place.

Not everyone is happy with the lineup, but nobody could deny that there's no so called, 'dead weight' in the team and they are all fairly talented on their own, and a lot are all rounders too.
X1 hasnt debuted yet but a lot of controversies are already thrown their way.
I think the fan base is a great factor too, those who are on the debut list has fans (20 to 40s) which means they have money to spend for sms votes.
No matter what I just hope these boys have a successful debut and dont feel too down about the controversies since they probably know what people are saying about them.

As we all know the purpose of the “X” in this season is to make up of for what happened to jonghyun and gaeun, incase that something like that will happen again. But unfortunately, what we are expecting didn’t happen. It’s the opposite. Jinhyuk could have make it if there’s no x thing. X thing could have work for what happened to jonghyun and gaeun, in this case it’s mingyu (placed 1st in rank), but unfortunately his live votes were less than eunsang. We really can’t predict the future.
On the other hand, it’s true this is the best lineup next to ioi, it’s because a lot of talented trainees made it in the top 20 and yeah, we can’t make them all debut as x1. That’s the harsh reality.

I always have my doubts about the show being scripted, but now you've confirmed it (the Tony jumping clip). I stan X1 hard but It's so hard to imagine what would happen after all is revealed. Non of the trainees is at fault here. I bet even before joining the show they have to sign some kind of contract to not say anything about the show being heavily scripted or reveal anything before, after or behind the scenes. Can you imagine how would X1 and the trainees that didn't make the cut would feel right now tho, some of the X1 members is probably doubting their place in the group silently. As for the other trainees, they are probably thinking all that sweat, tears, time and support for nothing if you're not on MNET's favor. They messed up PDX big time and should pay for it. I'm so emotional rn thinking about them but imagine if we switched place with them, I can't imagine what they would be thinking. For PDX101 trainees fan, I hope you continue to support them emotionally and please refrain to post nasty comments about the trainees anywhere. They have been through enough. This is so hard but we should just wait for the results and whatever happens, I'll keep supporting them. Also, people keep saying ''why are they doing this X1 is fine, no need to do anything1!!1''. Realistically, if your faves aren't on the team you wouldn't say that. I only have 1 stan from the show, which was Hangyul. His votes (with some other trainees) are the ones that people noticed (allegedly) ''got rigged''. If something is revealed, it would tarnish his name (even if it's not his fault) and his reputation. But I still have a decency in me wanting the justice for the other trainees that got the real support from their fans because I know how they feel. I want to know what happened, why and I just want MNET to pay what they've been doing for years and years thinking if they kept quiet for long enough or giving a half-assed response they would get away with it. Also, the response they gave really triggers the hell out of me. They are playing these hard working trainees and the supporters for money and views. I'm done with them. I hope the people who's suing, gives them hell. As worried as I am, I believe in the fans support, they even started BY9. I think even if something is changed, fans is keeping their concern and stronger support for the troubled trainees (Bless ya). If you're a fan, please don't worry too much, It's going to be alright.

the tony clip doesn’t really mean it’s scripted they probably told them to reshoot the clip to get this reaction better that always happens in reality tv
hmm... I understand why you would think that, but in so many shots in PDX there is always MULTIPLE cameras in the room. The least camera in there was probably 3. I've never seen just 1 camera taking multiple shots of them. So I don't think they 're-shoot' some of the clips just to get a better reaction. I think the producers wanted them to react like there's more drama than there really is tbh. I don't particularly dislike Tony. He just doing what he's told like most of the trainees. But that scene confirmed my doubts.
also, what I meant by scripted was the producers is probably asking them to 'act more, do this' < that's my definition of scripted, hey get told what to do in a particular parts. And re-take is > 'do that one more time, going to take that shot from different angle (which is very unlikely because they have soooO many cameras in the room)

I recently finished Produce X 101. MNET WAS INDEED DOING EVIL EDITING AGAINTS WOOSEOK... I was so frustrated when Mnet was showing Wooseok's bad side without showing to the national producer's his real intention and his full manuscript. I mean, he cared for the group's performance when he decided not to recruit Dong-yun to their group. I mean, he was concerned about the group's stage. They would've started all over again redistributing lines and adjusting their choreography. Also, SIGNIFICANTLY REPEATING Wooseok's mistakes was very wrong. Especially when they highlighted HIM alone. Gawd, that was terrible.
The scene where YoHan cried because they got scolded, I think Mnet was highlighting Wooseok's mistakes rather than the team's current performance before the actual stage. Wooseok may not be a perfect trainee, but to think that you're highlighting too much negative things in him is totally a bad decision. Maybe because Mnet wanted a member who debuted already (WooSeok and JinHyuk and SeungWoo). Yet, they had to deal with it.

Literally in Produce 48 mnet made sure Alex was nowhere to be found like everyone (who knew Alex) knows she was there. I don’t know if the video is still up but there was someone who used to work at mnet and they said by the first episode they(mnet) already pick who they want in the group. In my opinion Wooseok debuting in x1 is great but I find it kind of unfair for up10tion they are mostly likely going to be abandoned and disband soon because of wooseok and jinhyuck. I wish people already in loop groups weren’t allowed onto produce shows because it’s unfair for their group but also the trainees who haven’t debut yet since they have a bigger fan base. But ultimately it’s not their fault it’s their companies for being selfish for more fame.

To me these shows are always rigged even if the votes are counted correctly simply because the shows decide who gets screen time and what behavior they show. For example they all work soooo hard but if they decide they don’t like someone they can simply show them tired and give people the impression they are lazy and not passionate nor hard working. Just edit together training room footage with one trainee taken from 3am looking tired and threat using footage from the room after lunch break looking perky.
If anything bad happens to my girl Wonyoung or Yohan after Iz*one and X1 I’m gonna riot

I'd like to add that people forget that Kim Nayoung (Gugudan) was the most popular member on the show including Mina and Sejeong hince why Jellyfish made SeMiNa. I remember that in the finale Kim Nayoung was always called on by fans whenever they announce rankings and even in between the show. Nayoung was also in the category of the "14th place curse" because in the finale she too was ranked 14th. I feel people forget about that when they talk about that which makes me think about the last three seasons 14th places... just wanted to add that in there about season 1 because I always thought it was fishy that she was the one name I could clearly hear from fans but didn't make the line up.

Well the ones who debuted in izone are the ones who got majority of screen time during first 3 episodes. Most obvious was minju, she got the whole segment of her training for the reevaluation. Rigged from the start

It’s common knowledge that ever since the first season MNET has been manipulating the votes for all the rankings (Yes, even the visual and one-picks.) Take IZ*ONE’s Kang Hyewon for example. She was scouted by MNET and was immediately sent to compete in PD48 under the guise of a company called ‘8D Entertainment’. She rose through the ranks despite receiving so much backlash from Korean and International viewers alike for being just another Sohye 2.0 or Guanlin 2.0. The most shocking moment involving Hyewon was when she ranked 3rd place after the position evaluations. In the end, she debuted. She was basically “MNET’s daughter” and was included in the lineup because she was scouted by MNET themselves.
Disclaimer alert, I love Hyewon to bits and not once did I bash her or throw shade at her. She proved herself in the competition by improving with every evaluation and (imo) she deserved her place in the final line-up. However, I’m still against the fact that MNET had to rig her votes just to get her in IZ*ONE.

I have a love-hate relationship with all korean survival shows (not just Produce).
I really love how I can get to know a lot of talented trainees and watch them grow (from baby chicks) throughout the show.
At the same time I also hate how they evil edit everything to have more drama (even when there isn't any) and show obvious bias. I don't even know what to say about the rigged voting....
Personally I'm really happy about this year's line up....actually I think this is the first time I'm satisfied with it (although not entirely...still crying a river for Jinhyukie)~
I also think (some people might not agree with it) this season had the most talented trainees so far. (I mean getting to know Han Seungwoo and Cho Seungyeon...was life-changing)
I guess it can be because this season there were lots of trainees who have debuted or already participated in other survival shows.
All in all, I kind of don't want them to make another season but would love to watch new trainees... TT
Kim minseo was really wronged. He was the trainee with blonde hair who performed dejavu by nuest at the beginning of produce 101 x. When he performed he did really good, but got eliminated. He had what he needed to debute with

If Yoon Seobin was not kicked out then he would probably enter the X1 line up, given that his rank (12th) on the first episode was higher than the YG trainees, he scored second in first evaluation. He would probably be the main vocal for X1 with 2 Seungs or the Visual, or even the center since he's from JYP. Though Mnet would gladly use him against YG trainees (JYP vs YG was supposedly gonna happen until his unfortunate leave.)

But produce 101 debuting multitalent trainee like seungyoun,chaeyeon,hasung,and yeounjung while idol producer didn't debuting trainee talent like zhu xinjie(btw i'm still salty he didn't debut in 9%.How can talent trainee like him can't caught people attention?)And idol producer debuted line up is the trainee who got big fanbase.Even the trainee suck,they still debut in there.while produce 101 big fanbase still didn't make the trainee enter the line up....

Honestly judging how Wonyoung is I have a feeling Starship will let her and Yujin debut in a group together because they're pretty close since they're both from the same company.
I'm happy for this lineup too even though some of my picks didn't made it! Members are so balanced and have many all rounder, multi-talented and even all visuals! This is the best lineup for me too ❤ I hope they'll be more shining after this kinds of controversies are over . They didn't do anything wrong and they don't deserve it 😔😔

I don't mind the idea of By9, but I think it's unlikely to happen. Woollim's literally ignoring the petitions and has its boy trainees (+ Hyeop) set already with their own sns and being active there, Starship already confirmed their new boygroup will debut in early 2020, Minkyu has many offers as a model and Jellyfish denied that they were going to manage the group, Yuvin is going to start a duo with Kookheon and they're already preparing it (and maybe a myteen cb in the future?) and Jinhyuk has his solo activities now and will probably go back to up10tion at some point, so... the chances are not too high

I always feel bad for the those who attend PD shows. They all just want to grab the chance to success but because the way this show works really exploit them. They worked hard but it also depends on Mnet. In business perspective, this show has pretty good business strategy. Not only they make money from the show but also from the group they debut. Advantages such as having a huge fan base -> PD viewers/voters even before debut, plus big company promoting, the group will have a high chance of being successful. I’m sure it is scripted in some way and it’s bias and evil editing same as lack of screen time are things that I don’t like about the show. Just a piece of my thought on PD.
guys , imagine if the next season plans to bring all the trainees that deserves to debut from season 2 and season 4 ? that would be awesome !

I love the current lineup of X1 but seriously if the votes are rigged the fans had the right to be mad. Yes the boys are the victims too here, both the fans and the boys are the victims. To vote the fans had to pay and if mnet just manipulated the votes then that's fraud. Regardless the situation, I am mad to the people who throws hate to the final lineup members because they're one of the victim too. Mnet need to explain the situation to the fans and the trainees who are supposed to be the final lineup. I heard both already settle between the company and mnet but not with the fans though. This is still a fraud and I can't believe people still watch this show. There's barely an action done after the news about the fraud. If the show is still continue I hope people will realize that they just wasting their money because mnet already had they final pick for the group.
Can we also discuss what the hell happened to Ham Wonjin, Choi Suhwan and Kim Sihoon. They were all such promosing contestants, but on the last few episodes Mnet stopped giving them screen time ( except for wonjin's incident and the main vocal battle. ) It felt like Mnet was slowly trying to make them less popular. It really made me angry. But overall I'm quite happy for the final line up.

to be honest: I think Mnet purposely wanted to get exposed to have an excuse to not go back to Produce anymore, but ended up getting busted for more than they wanted.

I mean we just need to be honest. Yuvin WAS main vocal greedy and we can't deny it and if you do deny it you need to watch the season again. He was Main vocal in EVERY performance and it is bs because he is a good vocal but he didn't need to be main vocal every performance especially when there was always another good vocal. It got so bad to the point where I actually got tired of his voice because it wad like hearing the same thing over and over. Another person I got tired of was Woseok... I loved him but he was center in every performance which is once agin like wtf I didn't get tired of him as a person but as a performer because the center is a really big spot in performances but when you see the same center and the sams main vocal OVER AND OVER you get tired of it. Seungwoo was also main vocal over and over but I never got tired of him because he is actually a rapper so I was so breath taken to hear him sing. Also I didnt get tired of yuvin as a person.
legit same tho. like I felt so bad for other trainees whenever they got Yuvin in their group because I knew he was gonna take the main vocal spot from them. like when he got moved to super special girl he should've just let another trainee have it at that point I was bored and tired of hearing him all the time. and with wooseok it was the same i knew him since up10tion debuted and i think he's the visual/center of that group so again i jut got bored. i'm a huge fan of victon since their debut so i liked hearing seungwoo only sing and not rap at all
I understand that it may seem that way. I would have loved to hear Suhwan singing as a main vocal, but I'm a big fan of Yuvin's voice anyway so that didn't bother me at all. Just a reminder, PDX101 is a competition.
I don't like Seungwoo's singing honestly, his high notes seems like screaming to me and I just feel like Kookheon, Yuvin and Suhwan have better techniques so I was just meh about him singing. I was actually quite mad when Yuvin was kicked from UGI team because he was the most stable vocalist there imo. And I would have loved to see Suhwan as a main singer as I said.
I'm not a fan of Wooseok and he didn't appeal to me at all during the show but I didn't get really bored of him during the show. I liked his performance in Love Shot but that's all, I don't really rememver him in the other performances.
He’s good but he’s not great. Yeah, he kinda can reach high notes but singing style a little boring. Also his need to be main vocal in everything while on the show is a bit turn off. But he looks like a good guy.
i mean not gonna line he was *GREAT* at singing and has great potential but he's potential was kinda pushed out the whole show despite him being the main vocal almost everytime

Jinhyuk originally only went to accompany wooseok but he didn’t know he would fall in love with everyone along the way, he went through hardships and got into the top 3 but he was robbed of his talent but I’m so happy he is still doing so well and updating us all the time of his istagram

In the end I just feel bad for all the trainees. They were lied to with false opportunities since it was rigged. I feel bittersweet about it, because on the one hand my favorites who did not join the groups can rest easy knowing it was rigged from the beginning and they tried their hardest, but for my favorites who made the final line up have been labeled as rigged or false idols. I do think that people need to realize the trainees did not know and its not fair to punish them for a mistake they did not make. I know that after the rigged scandal broke both Izone and xi started losing sponsorships and brand deals, so I do not know how well their agencies could fund the groups. I just hope the trainees and members do not get bullied by fans AGAIN, we've already lost so many idols because people like to bully them online.
after pd48 I was not sure if I wanted to watch the next season. pdx101 came and I changed my mind. I would watch the next season even though I'm mad at mnet for evil editing. I think it's quite important for me to watch the produce seasons because it's the best way to get to know the new people that would join this industry and the groups that come out of produce are really good.

Jeon Somi won because she was young and conventionally pretty. She needs more training, even now, and I think a solo career was the worst decision, especially with a company related to YG. She would've been better off with Itzy
Also with so much corruption unveiled in k pop I can’t believe these companies aren’t thoroughly ripping off their artists someway and somehow and wish there could be a mandated review of all k pop money distribution and accounting. It ticks me off to no end every time I hear of k pop stars and how they get paid cents while the company heads are rolling in the billions. Something ain’t right.

I don’t support BY9. I love all the pdx boys and i wish them the best but them debuting takes away from X1 and defeats the purpose of the show. I’m sure the boys will still have a succesful career ( in the final lineup or not) but for now I’m worried about the ones in the final lineup. They haven’t even debuted yet they’re already recieving hate for something they didn’t do. Mnet has to do something about this because they are seriously screwing up all these 101 talented boys.
The purpose of the show was to give trainees who have been struggling to debut for years another chance. Most Produce x contestants were fairly new trainees so the purpose was already defeated ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I like survival shows. But if it's *scripted, faked, misrepresented, & rigged* - then it's no longer a survival program. There's no challenge. I have better things to do with my time & I actually regret watching the previous seasons now.
