The funny thing is... the fact that i saw one or two german soldiers wearing M42 stahlhelm ... in june of 1941.... there was no M42 helmet ... Theses appear only late in the summer automn of 1942. But great video.✌

In this film, they did not show what the Germans were doing with prisoners on the Eastern Front! Prisoners on the Eastern Front were often murdered, in the best case they were sent to the camp ( where they died from diseases and from hunger).
Good job! You can tell that this is a situation the Germans would have avoided, CQB I mean even if the concept wasn’t invented at the time. Even the Germans had no idea how to battle efficient in close quarters until after the German invasion of Crimea. But the Germans were quick to learn. Footage of German soldiers in battle in cities of the Crimean peninsula pictures a clumsy approach. The death toll on both the Russian and the German side was high. Later on the Germans partly rectified their lacking tactics. Or am I wrong?

on the entry into Russia in Barbarossa Germany lost one million young leutenants on the way to Moscow. They were the very best Germany had to offer the world and the loss of this million can be put directly onto Hitler's shoulders. At the end in 1945 Germany was loosing one million young helpless teenagers per week, but to me the worst was the young leaders to be for Germany"s future were thrown away in the months leading to Moscow.

June 22, 1941, the Soviet army did not have shoulder straps.
I don't think the Russians wore shoulder broads until 1943 uniform.
German had decals on helmets too until late 41 so these germans would of had them

Shoulder straps in the Red Army were introduced by order of Stalin 06/01/1943. Prior to this, insignia were worn on the collar.

Your figures are in la la land. Total German losses in WW2 were 5.5 million (figures from National WW2 Museum website).
