I work at a vets office where we had 16 puppies surrendered to us from the same breeder at once they all have parvo. Some more severe then others. All made it through and were able to be adopted out to new owners. It's hard to watch but worth the fight. Thank you for saving those babies!

I never even thought for a second that these two babies were ever leaving the farm, but when Brook said, " Can we keep em?" Especially after Jason getting a little weepy .... I just lost it! Happy tears, and I don't know why, like I said, I knew they were staying. Prayers and hugs that they pull through

A friend of mine adopted dogs and found they had parvo. They survived but the vet advised that they use an area to potty where no other animals could get to. He said the soil could hold parvo for years thus threatening other dogs. Be so careful and you all have beautiful hearts! I'm glad your pups are vaccinated.
True! My vet told me same. The good thing is I had them kenneled in my hallway that had vinyl floors and after all disease gone, could completely sterilize whole area, but I was told to not let them potty where other animals can go.
True!! Parvo stays in the soil!! Dispose of waste like it’s the biohazard that it is.

But th3 vet said that the others dogs won't get it cause they are fully vaccinated. Brooke stressed that in the video.

Y'all are truly some of the most caring folks I've ever seen...there used to be a time when parvo was just a death sentence...times have changed and its wonderful to see y'all doing everything you can do to save them...thank goodness your pups are vaccinated and what a great example y'all are telling everyone how important getting your animals vaccinated!!! Thank GOD. When I was a kid they didn't even TRY to help dogs with Parvo. They immediately put them down.

Rocky and Bandit are great names. I was brought to tears when Brooke asked can we keep them and when Jason got emotional. I am so glad Brooke saw these guys when she did.
I will never understand how people can just dump animals. I love the way Brooke looked up with that sweet smile and said "Can we keep them?" Even if Jason did not want them he would never be able to resist when Brooke looks at him like that. 😁😁
Parvo is a deadly disease but there is hope. Jimmy Houston has a UA-cam channel and once shared that his dog was not only a parvo survivor but was able to donate blood to dogs in poor shape because he had the antibodies to help them fight the disease. Many prayers as you help these precious babies heal. Blessings from northern Illinois.
As a person who has had nothing but rescues as pets, I give you so much credit in bringing these babies home even though they were sick! Cudo's for the compassion and love that you two have for animals, but that you have also instilled that compassion in your daughter. Sending prayers for the speedy recovery of these babies! I am a retired vet tech and I remember way back in the 70's when parvo first appeared in dogs. There was no treatment because no one knew exactly what was happening. It was awful . A lot of dogs were lost including one of my own. This puppy has a much better chance of recovery and I hope all goes well. Your family's love and and dedication to animals is awesome!

Sometimes the universe hands you exactly what you need. Your expanding your farm with the new barn build and expanding the fields for your other animals. And now two beautiful souls arrive to join your family and help with the homestead. They couldn't have landed into the arms of the BEST people ever!!

I was an animal health tech and when Parvovirus first started it was so horrible. They’ve come a long way in the treatments. I hope Rocky lives up to his name and can fight through it. Sending prayers and Bandit stays well. They are beautiful. ❤❤

Our dog got parvovirus and she pulled through really quickly. I was so impressed with how well the vet treated her. She stayed at the vet’s for 2 days and by the time we picked her up she was much improved. Thank you for having such a heart for these darlings!

When I seen all the diarrhea parvovirus was the first thing I thought had a dog that had gotten it at a shelter but did the same exact thing you are & he made it. Coghill Farms you have a heart of gold taking care of every animal that comes around and prayers for the puppies such sweethearts❤🙏

I have tears here too Jason. I love animals also! I am right now waiting on my lil Biewer pup that is coming home in April. One of my labs had a seizure too Jason. I didn’t know what it was and stuck my hand in his mouth thinking he was choking that could have been me loosing an arm.

Jason, Brooke and MaryCarl, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE how compassionate and empathetic y’all are towards animals. This was a huge undertaking that a lot of people would not have stepped up for. It’s not only emotionally exhausting but it’s financially stressful as well.
I have a 3/4 Great Pyrenees 1/4 Anatolian Shepherd mix and she’s one of the most loving dogs I’ve ever owned. She’s also very protective of our home and other dogs. I have a German Shepherd and an Aussie mix. They are all best friends and very much a bonded pack.
I’m thrilled that you’re keeping them. I’m sending healing prayers for both boys. I’m excited to hear what names you’re going to give them.
