Love hearing them sing. RIP Joe. Now you are in Heaven singing with the other Angels in Heaven with your beautiful voice. Sending love and prayers to his family and band members 🙏
I saw the Oakridge Boys in concert 3 times.Fantastic!! Rest in peace Joe .May Our Lord's perpetual light shine upon you.prayers for your family and friends.
This guy was an awesome singer and a great Oakridge Boy! There was no slowing him down! But when developed ALS in the last 3-4 years of his life I saw how it physically brought him down but didn't keep him out! When he was still singing it came to the point where he sat on a bar stool on the stage to sing because standing just got too hard for him. One of the other 3 guys would help him on and off the stage. They truly looked out for each other! He had used a cane and eventually was in a motorized wheelchair and in January of 2024 he retired from the road and traveling! He chose Ben James to take on the tenor part for the Oakridge Boys and he did great choosing that young man! Little did anyone know that he would be gone in 7 months. I'm not a doctor but I would guess the muscular disease he had went to his heart and he was gone to heaven! We all miss you Joe Bonsall so much and your wonderful voice! Rest in peace 🙏 Joe!
I loved the Oak Ridge but Joe with that big smile is in Heaven singing with those who are with Our Savior. Another beautiful soul entered Heaven’s Gates
