1958 DeSoto

I purchased this 1958 DeSoto Sportsman from a private salvage yard in 2005 and dragged it home to my garage. I spent three years making it roadworthy and drove it out of the garage in 2008. Wow, that is AMAZING. '58 DeSoto is one of my all-time favorite cars; so beautiful. How lucky this car was found by someone as talented as you and your sons. I could never have pulled off this restoration and hiring someone else to do it would have cost $100,000. PS: Glad someone finally posted one of these videos with period correct music! Yes. A 383 from a 1960 Chrysler. The original engine was a one-year 350 that was missing when I got the car.
