From the mountainous Chinese Archways, to the Tiny tags in the Dallas Capital One Lounge, this was an amazing sight to see! Few notes; 1. The way you describe food + drinks, makes us want to have them as well. Also how you describe the looks of these places, makes us want to go! 2. Love the design of the no pressure cafe/come back to this room and let’s talk about your finances + credit cards, seamless and interesting. 3. Calvin + Wife’s name = Calby Confirmed. 4. Tony + Mike made this video happen. 5. Should have taken all 5 pins for the collection, but I didn’t have the urge to spin it 😅. 6. Cube bush, that is all. 7. Those lounge benefits can’t be beat honestly! 8. And overhearing that conversation about transferring points 😂😂😂. Should have introduced yourself as Calby, the expert on capital one points. Great video Calby, I really just enjoyed watching you go from place to place, everything looks so modern, I have to visit D.C. one day and get to these shops myself!!
You should visit DC!! Surprised how many people have been to NYC but not DC. Best thing Capital One has produced, just a chill place to bank. Tony and Mikeyyyy!!!! Oh yeah, biggest regret, should have taken all the pins, lol. Yeah I should have introduced myself, next time 😛 Glad you enjoyed the video!!!
@@CalbyNg I always pass by it on the way back to NY but never stopped in DC! Yes, I really should visit this capital one Monopoly, seems like a cool place to walk around.
I got my venture x card last July and earned the 75K miles. I’m planning to travel to Japan in winter 2023 (Thank goodness Japan is fully reopening their borders starting Oct 11th) and hopefully Capital One lounge at IAD will be open by then.
Report. DFW lounge pretty impressive with good vegetarian options, grab n go food, relaxation pod, etc. Fresh color scheme, but I wonder if it will wear well over time. Coffee-bank at Mall of America, not sure if that was the right location for them. People don’t go to the Mall to hang out for coffee, so it often looks empty. Too much square footage. I hope it stays around. In general, I like these new concepts. A few years ago I went to get a SIM card in Hong Kong. I was expecting something that looked like a T-Mobile store. Instead it looked like a hotel lobby. I sat down on a leather sofa with a staff person dressed like a concierge to buy phone minutes. Ok! And I went back when I needed more minutes because of the experience.
Man, you've been everywhere, haha. How does the Capital One lounge compare to Amex lounges in your opinion? Ooo I'll have to check out that location! That is such a cool experience, love the modern changes to stores
Great video! I am 20 and got my first credit card at 19 with discover it. I recently Amex blue cash everyday. I am looking to get a international; travel card due to me going out of the country in a few months. Wells Fargo autograph looks to be the best one without an annual fee, but I’ve read that they are a greedy company. I also plan to get Citi custom cash next year. What do you think? My main purchasing is groceries, and subscriptions. Most of the money I make from my part time job is investing in the stocker market, or saved. My parents are authorized users on my Amex card so they used it for spending for food.
Have you looked into getting the Curve Card? At the moment you can put any Mastercard on it and there are no foreign transaction fees; when you use the Curve Card. Therefore you can make any Mastercard into a no foreign fee card. And they are offering a welcome bonus of an extra 1% back. So you can load the Citi Double Cash or the Citi Custom cash and get 3% or 6% back. One issue is the Curve Card is new and can be buggy. Another suggestion, if you already use Grubhub and go to Shake Shack, is the Amex Gold card. It has an annual fee of $250 but if used correctly, the dining credits offset the annual fee to $10.
@@ahmxddd Yep! Was on Capital One's network; now Comenity has it. I wish!!! Nope, just 5x back on Playstation stuff, and the points are pretty worthless 😅
The Capital One Coffee shops looked pretty interesting! Gotta go check out their coffees! Great Video Calby, I like the touristy vibe!
Yeah me too! I'd love to check out their cafés too!
Get the matcha 😉

Damm watching this video made me want to apply for capital one cards 😅
Capital One member access and 50% off coffee? Yes Plz! 😁
@@CalbyNg is the 50% coffee with any card or do I need the venture x?
@@williamfeliciano6003 Any Capital One card used at a Capital One Cafe; even the debit card works.
Can a fare card be shared between two people...can one person go through and hand the person on the other side their card so they can get through?
Unfortunately no since the fare cost is based on departure station and arrival; so different charges for different rides.

hey calby do you think besides the drinks will give 50% off on food too?
Hey William! Unfortunately the discount is only on handcrafted drinks. So that also doesn’t include pre-bottled drink and of course food.
