Hi Jaquie. I just wanted to let you and Harlow know how much you two have helped me all night. I've been going through all of your videos because your playful pup helps me a lot. My dog of 14 years seized on my bed and passed away yesterday night. Watching your pup has been keeping me in a stable mood. Please give her an extra head kiss for me.

I also feed my dogs raw, and just thought I'd suggest another "recipe" for the veggie pops! I blend: kale, spinach, carrots, parsley, lemon, turmeric, ginger, kelp, apples, strawberries, blueberries and coconut oil. If you need to liquefy it more, add a little bit of bone broth. After much testing, I find that this mixture gets the best result for my dogs.
If you have a slow cooker, you can also make homemade bone broth by putting in chicken feet and some marrow bones and cooking it in the slow cooker with water and a bit of apple cider vinegar for 12-16 hrs (or even up to 24!)
Hope you start to feel better soon!

Sir fry is my favorite! I make it a lot especially when I am having a bad pots day. It also helps to get my salt in to my diet when I didn't eat a lot. So far increasing my salt and switch water and Gatorade throughout the day has helped with my symptoms.

Those ice cube trays are AWESOME! I use them when I make sofrito, then I pop the cubes out and store them in a freezer bag. Each cube is the amount for rice, meat, chicken, soup, etc! 💗

Hey, Jaquie! I somehow ended up on your channel after about an hour playing around on UA-cam and recognized you immediately. I'm not sure if you remember because you've come across so many people, especially at school I'm sure, but we took Dev Psych together. I found the flash drive of our video project last week so it's so weird that I came across your channel right after, haha. It's nice that you have been able to come out of your comfort zone in making these vlogs. You are truly inspiring. It's also amazing to see Harlow in action! I believe Molly was the pup you were training when we had class together because Harlow was still very young.
Anyway, even if you don't remember I wanted to leave a comment congratulating you on your adventures with Judd and Harlow and thanking you for educating the public on service animals and their owners. I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
    😊 Amanda S.

a friend of mine was just diagnosed with gastropersis. She had a feeding tube placed two weeks ago. She was admitted today back into the hospital for excessive bile on her stomach. I have 2 questions. 1) Do you have excessive bile that has to be drained? 2) where did you get your backpack? I'd like to get her a cute one like yours. They have her a black one :/ but she would like something cute. I found your channel looking for some answers about this disease. I hope your feeling better.

I just had a quick question, this may have been addressed but I wasn't sure. when you feed Harlow her food do you wait until the meat is thawed or can she/does she eat it while it's frozen? I've always wondered because I'm heavily thinking about feeding my dog raw. thank you! 👐✌

So glad you're feeling better. Hope Judd does too. You may know this already but have you tried to see if the zofran manufacturer has a hardship/assistance program? When my mom had her double lung transplant, it would have cost over $3,000/month had she not had assistance. Once she qualified, those meds were free. Each company has their own guidelines. Some, it doesn't matter your income, others it did. If you need help looking these up, finding info, etc. let me know. I can see if we still have the ones she used. Of course most are online and you seem pretty capable of research. lol. but it can be a royal pain searching, calling, applying, etc. and I'm sure you don't need added stress right now. Best of luck. Thanks for educating us! I'm a new member going through all your videos. They're great. I also have EDS, POTS, dysautonomia among others, so I get it when those bad days hit. Prayers that you will continue to heal. 😊

Have you checked to see if the maker of zofran has a patient assistance program? Lot of drug companies have a program and you can get them free or way reduced. I used to be on a pain patch and they are ridiculous exp w out ins, I was able to get them free every month. Might be worth checking into if you havnt already. Lots of people don't know about it.

Have you considered trying vegan? My grandmother had a hard time eating but then she tried vegan and she got her appetite back and ate normally :)

No, I give up a lot of things for my chronic illnesses and meat is not one of those things I am willing to give up. Also, my doctors do not think it will benefit me in any way. I have tried several diets with little success.

Do you supplement Harlow's diet with vitamins? You look beautiful today, by the way.

I need advice, or a lift up... I dunno, but I have a question for anyone willing to answer. I have been having symptoms, like nausia, bloating, dehydration (due to hydrocephalus) I can't eat much, I pass out in class (I'm only 15), weakness, foggy memory, when I wake up (both in the morning and when I pass out) I feel soo fatigued. the doctors say that it's all stress, only because Im young and shouldn't have anything wrong with me. but I know for a fact that it's not. so here is my question, does anyone have similar symptoms, or does anyone know a way to help this (through maybe diet or whatever)? I am only searching for answers and have no idea where to start.

Ariabella Palmer it's a Vogmask. If you are interested in getting one, you can use the code "cdoh" to get $10 off. (The coupon came from Christina Doherty, another chronic illness youtuber)

I have heard that playing tug of war with dogs can cause aggression or biting problems. Are there ways to avoid that to become a problem? I want to play tug of war with my dog but worry about aggression. Is there a specific way you play tug of war?

    • @DanieSwift
      @DanieSwift 7 років тому

I have played tug of war with my family's dogs for most of there life and never had any problems with aggression or biting problems, I don't know about aggression but in my experiences all the biting I've experienced is their way of playing, like a puppy behavior they never grew out of. That's just in my experience though.

Har has no signs of aggression, I do not see how playing would cause that. She loves tug!
