Canonically it wouldnt really make sense since cooper is a regular grunt turned pilot, he would probably not do well against pilots. Whenever he fights someone more experienced BT does most if the work, BT kills all the mercenaries.
@@Narko_Markobut at one point or another every pilot was a grunt and Cooper was kind of training in the gauntlet and gaining expierence on the battlefield
@@katarzyna9490 it was like his first time in the gauntlet. Other pilots would have years of experience. At the end of the game Cooper has been a pilot for only 18 hours.

These are assets by Respawn accessible by devs only. This clip is from a dev showreel.
If they wanted to add things like pilot bots to private matches then they could have used the ai and made it so that they could call in titans of their own with customization being completely random (would also be nice if they could hack spectres but I understand how that would be a pain in the ass)

Titanfall3 had so much potential! Why did they really give up on it??? Who told them to?... 🤔
One dev told on Twitter that during first 8 months of development they build something that wasn't substantially significant to call it Titanfall3. During same period Battle royale mode had just emerged and was getting popular so they pivoted that development into Apex Legends. In one way Apex is Titanfall 3 but also not.
Considering I went out of my way to kill MRVN's in my campaign runs there is no doubt in my mind that I would shit my pants upon seeing one running at me on all fours.

AI pilots surprisingly are good. I thought they weren't implemented because they were too difficult to implement.

Did the early development of TF2 had plans of AI pilots in SP but later scrapped?
if that was the case I guess that feature was too advanced at its time that they didnt put it in the finals.
That AI pilot feature kinda rivals that of COD MW22's AIs in DMZ when you play solo and GROUNDED instead of the usual GUN & RUN style COD is nowawadays.
yet animation quality especially that side step to dodge our shot, is so solid for a 2016 game

Even after all these years there are still cut content that never saw light until now.

Like THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN CRAZY in higher difficulties if it was a group attack.
Final boss kinda situation with AI pilots would be one challenging end fight.

I always thought it was funny that the player never fought pilots in the Titanfall 2 campaign. Yeah, the player fought titans operated by pilots, but I mean pilots outside of their mechs. I thought it could be an intense encounter against a super fast and agile opponent. What's shown here was actually along the lines of what I thought it could look like.

AI pilots would’ve made this game 100/100 vs 99/100. Keep ‘em out of multiplayer, but the fact that Jack Cooper didn’t need to face off against ONE pilot when clearly in MP Pilots are near when titans are is something I always felt was lacked in the story.
I would love to see AI pilot enemies in story mode.

These models are from development team at Respawn. This clip is taken from a dev's reel.
Why the models looking better when they are gray/white ? XD
When models are shown in gray, its usually a playbast of the animation captured in a 3d software with more light in scene, sometimes making it look bright or better
