You're driving a high revving 4 cylinder like an LS car... you could add like 3000 rpm and stay in second and stay on the limiter and it thrive. That car has basically zero torque compared to the miata.
Short shifting, not double clutching when he should. LOL you are right though. He's trying to drive it like the torque monster. This is just the opposite. It's needs to be rung out. 🦅🇺🇸✌️
What he needs to do is lock vtec..that crossover aint ment for drifting..its such a power increase it makes drifting feel funky.. thats just my o2 and what I did to my 240 with the same swap .as soon as I put her locked on thst big lobe it was night an day

1:47 for me personally, I'm less nervous at the track because I don't have to think about the what ifs. Like what if it breaks in the middle of traffic, what if it catches fire, how will I get it home safe. All that stuff is easy or safer to not have in your head
I find drilling a couple holes in the thermostat helps when those air pockets won't bleed out of a system. I'm going to start doing it to all my thermostats when I replace them cause 2 out of three times I tend to have them not want to bleed properly.

Yep, seeing Taylors cefiro I immediately thought of the old Driftcorp cars. Drifting was great back then, when the Garage Dori forum was active too. I learnt so much building my Toyota’s from that site. Them were the days.

You have to run a K24 at a much higher RPM to get power. You’ll have to test it up there in the 4500 to 7500 range and see where it’s happy. Get it on the dyno and the graph will give you an idea where to start. Stoked it’s most of the way there. You look like you’re having a ton of fun.
I love this car, never even knew the cefiro was a thing before this build and to see it doing SO GOOD has me stoked! And can we just take a second to appreciate how amazing that thing sounds! Love the build, love the channel, keep it up Taylor!

Is the Volvo power steering suited to this kit? We use astra Holden power steering pumps in Australia and they seem to work pretty flawlessly. Might be a struggle to find one over there, not sure if there's a gm version of it in the states but might be something to look into. Good to finally see this thing on song, hopefully you get all the bugs worked out by the next drift week!
You need to buy a cooling system vacuum filler tool. Use it all the time at work and never worry about air pockets. Like $190-$300 off the tool truck. Worth the buy, it saves so much time bleeding/filling cooling systems
keep those revs high and you're good. commit to throttle through those mid zones so you carry momentum through beginning of turn and you're totally golden

Check if voltage at the PS-Pump is dropping. This happens typically with a bad battery (or wiring). At least in the stock chassis.

^ This. Constantly fought with my KA-T trying to bleed it. Don't even worry about bleeding it now lol
@@LackeyKh if you still have the stock KA intake manifold there's an M6 bleeder screw on top of the water neck that helps a ton
@@toomanynissans not really. Still takes over an hour to bleed with the factory bleeder and it has to be elevated
You need to put a clutch delay valve on the clutch if you don't have the rubber isolator to help with the shock from clutch kicking

Favourite channel in youtube and loving the Cefiro series. You should get a aem dryflow prefilter for the airfilter for those rainy conditions.

You need a speed controller too run the volvo v50 pump. I am using a Opel Astra pump and eBay controller

Yes! Same here in UK. Astra/vectra pumps, no 'lag' in the system at all, I've used them on track and fast road applications.
Are the astra power steering pumps electric? Also could the chevy cruze or whatever Chevy had before be an equivalent?
