- Barn find Kawasaki kx125 did not start for a couple years and in this video, we attempt to start it. It cleaned up really nicely and with new plastics.

Sounds like its sucking air that idle is picking up when it starts way to much?

Next time instead of painting the plastic frame guards just heat the surface up with a blow torch of heat gun it will bring the colour back.

Well done 👏👏👏 I'm in the middle of rebuilding a 1991 kx 125 with my son... just waiting on the frame wheels ect coming back from the powder coating can't wait two start getting it all back together again... 👌 if ya don't mind me asking how much did yours cost all in ?

2000 and 2001 will be identical 2002 is mostly the same but a few things are different
take your time with the seat next time and buy new tubes theyre cheap.

those air filters are trash bud, do not use after one ride they are disposable.
Good to know I have this same one only have 1 hour on it and it's been soaked in oil and its mounted with a good lawyer of grease I'm no going to order a twin air filter are they good ones I don't want to hurt my bike 😮
