Another great Idea. Just so you know or others may know.. They make PVC cutters and you won't get blisters. They are like big scissors.. just squeeze and cut. You can also cut with hack saw.
Thank you for the great video!! I will say though, I tried this out for my western saddle, making adjustments like getting thicker 3/4 PVC and widening the part it sits on. In this economy everything didnt total out to around $10 :( it was $50 for me, but, I’m making do and I’ll double it as a roping dummy once I add sand to the tubes and cement it all together. Very neat craft!
@Gem girl, I didn't build a pvc one. I am using a rope tied in a loop and hangs from above. I pass it through the gullet and over the horn. It works well except I don't like the fact my stirrups hang toward the back of the saddle.
Now I NEEDED this! I've used the things you have and yeah it's a pain. Just wondering if it would support a heavy western saddle..... I'm doin this! 💜❣️🧡Gem Girl, Tennessee 🤠
So are you now boarding your horse somewhere? I assume you don't transport your horse to every lesson? Why not just keep your saddle wherever your horse is?
FANTASTIC COOL AND GOING TO MAKE ONE THANKS

Same! But doing it!
Thank you for posting this! My husband and I were talking about these types of saddle stands. I love the fact that it’s $10!!!
New project! Woot! Thank you! I only need something once in a while, so having something that breaks down is awesome!
Great idea, thanks for sharing!
Do these dimensions work for western saddles as well?
Cool! I have a wooden one that my hubby made that fits in the back seat of my truck!
I love this! I just got a tack box, and it fit perfectly with the rest of my tack!
Nice job. Good video. I am going to make 2 for our western stock saddles. I think I will use 2 in schedule 40 pvc..
Was it sturdy enough for your western saddles?
