That was actually a good tutorial. Most models overdo the strut and the hip sway, and it comes across try-hard. But your walk was more natural, less overdone, and very elegant.
Its good to be extra cause then u know WHO. It is, like naomi and shalom. If u walk like everybody else you wont be noticed for shit
@@purrrr1379I think what OP means is that the walk must feel natural and the sway might look forced if you go for it right off the bat. It should come to you, you learn what looks good with your hips and leg shape. Shalom is tall and slim, people with wider hips need a different sway than the one she used to do in the 90’s.

- Keep your shoulders above your hips
- Sway your arms slightly behind your hips
- Point your leading foot and extend the heel of the following foot
- Walk as if following a straight line

OMGG that’s so exciting!! you should look up Models like Adriana Lima, Gigi Hadid, Shalom Harlow, Kate moss, Naomi Campbell, at some 90s runway walks also listen to models songs and practice your walk (I recommend fashion by britney) but good luck!!

Totally WRONG!!! This video is NOT correct at all, for Runway Modeling! This is a regular old street walk, or for a modest high school prom if anything. There are better videos if you search. This is just wrong, and you have a great eye for incorrect walk.

My arms just don‘t swing when I walk and I just look like I‘m a robot or something when I‘m going sonewhere-
I‘ve been forcing my arms to move for the past 5 months cause I didn‘t want it to be thaaat obvious but I think it looks ridiculous

Totally WRONG!!! This video is NOT correct at all, for Runway Modeling! This is a regular old street walk, or for a modest high school prom if anything. There are better videos if you search. This is just wrong, and you have a great eye for incorrect walk. YOu swing and exaggerate the hips, and you drop the shoulder over the hip that is coming up, and also, swing arms infront of you, etc., This is just an ordinary walk on the street.

This is not correct at all, sorry. Lots of hip sway, walk on an invisible line, hands and arms swing in front, and shoulder drops on the side of the lifting hip!!! This model didn't do any of the basics. This looks like a regular old walk, not a Runway Model walk, sorry.
