I think every model has a different style of walking. And every fashion designer wants their model to walk a certain way to showcase the designs a certain way too. I think a lot of times people equate good walking with walking like Naomi Campbell but you don't have to walk like Naomi Campbell to have a good walk. I think Gigi is just fine.

I'm sorry but Gigi and Kendall are the last people to get an advice from on how to work the runway. They are basically instagram models that happen to be related to reality tv people..
Sammy King they're obviously not "instagram" models. They both have respective careers in the industry - plenty of campaigns/print work, covers/spreads & they have graced MANY runways.
Deanna Robinson do you know what most people really mean?? They (nepotism girls) get to be models because they were already famous in instagram. Real models especially super/top models get famous outside fashion world because of jobs they did as models. You should've notice the difference, it is obvious yet embarrassing. Though I still admit that Gigi is improving her ability to model (but not catwalk, hers are just average, not signature-ish enough, while Cara's & Kendall walk are horrible, don't let me start about both of their WTF-poses at the end of runway) which surprises me from time to time, while Kendall just being Ken-dull for how long already despite her being interested and knowing about fashion industry since forever to compare with most models who knew nothing about fashion and entertainment world other than their little life in little town or village.

Deanna Robinson Getting one or two campaigns in a season is not "plenty" when you have people like Lexi Boling and Binx Walton getting 6 or 7 Campaigns in ONE season, I believe for SS15 Binx got Fendi, Coach, DKNY, Hugo Boss, Tom Ford and Alexander Wang, compared to Kendall only getting Marc Jacobs. Also they do not walk that much in comparison to other real models yet are still heralded as supermodels after only walking for 3 seasons and both have yet to make an impact in fashion whatsoever.
luke mcintosh I think they've done a lot of work thus far, they're both really young & early in their careers. What a lot of you people don't understand is that a lot of designers actually won't book them because of who they are. People think that they get perks because of who they are, but it really isn't like that lol

No one has ever walked the runway, as fierce, stunning, graceful and so beautiful other than Candice Swanopoel. She always walks a perfect straight line when she walks, her speed is always right, she knows how to work her hips, and her foot always lands directly in front of the other in a line. She just glides when she walks and even on her first VS runway show, she just stands out because her walk is perfect. You dont need to agree with me, im just stating my own opinion.

In my opinion, Yaseem Ghouir has best runway walk. Noami and Tyra try too hard. They always tried to out do each other. It was suppose to captivate the audience and seem effortless.

Myślę, że dobrze że powstają takie filmiki które pełnią też rolę krótkometrażowych filmów o pracy modelek jak i mają charakter nie tyle edukacyjny co dydaktyczny.
Ludzie mają zerowe wyobrażenia o pracy w show biznesie jak i pracy w zawodzie modela, fotografa czy stylisty.
Poza przymiarkami, próbami chodzenia po wybiegu, sprawdzaniu się; (mam tu na myśli treningi motywacyjne i zachęcające do tego co chociażby Gigi pokazała). Wszystko jest ciężką pracą okupioną łzami i cierpieniem. Nie piszę tego złośliwie ale tylko w bólach rodzi się prawdziwy sukces - a głodni są go wszyscy. Zawsze mniej wytrwałych czy też osób którym nie zależy na perfekcji i sadyzmie wchodzenia i wychodzenia z siebie pozostaje chociażby Teen Vogue i inne młodsze jego wejrzenia.

What signature walk? These are the runway golden girls who do have signature walk even when they started modelling - Pat Cleveland, Naomi Campbell, Shalom Harlow, Yasmeen Ghauri, Gisele Bundchen, and the latest are Mariacarla Boscono, Natasha Poly, Snejana Onopka among very few others (I acknowledge Karlie's walk but she had that walk during her 4th or 5th season, not during her debut). Gigi's walk is just okay (to compare with her peers like Cara & Kendall, OMG their walks are pure joke) but she does surprise me from time to time as she shows some improvement in her print works. Kudos for that, Kendall should try to take some good notes from Gigi.

No. Actually the very first time Karlie walked in Calvin Klein, you can notice already that she's going to be a big thing. Her legs were already extending gracefully with matching little hip movement, but all of those were not that obvious yet (maybe she was shy). But yeah, in the succeeding seasons, she learned how to steal the show with what's known today as her 'moody gait'.
None of them can walk properly on the runway period but i believe they'd do better once they've gotten A LOT MORE experience
