The first method using the little usb sound card has no phantome power for the condenser mic so how is it working?

I have a usb sound card and a bm800 but it doesn’t record on audacity. I did all the things you did. I dunno what’s missing. Maybe I have to set it up on audacity settings? Please help

Is the 3.5 mm jack cable that you plug into the soundcard TS, TRS or TRRS? I have TRS and my MacBook Air doesn't recognize my microphone so I was wondering if it was because I need a TS or TRRS 3.5 mm jack cable instead of TRS. Your answer would help me a lot! Thank you :)

Nice vid. How did you change the sound from a normal camera microphone to a condenser microphone in the video. If I use a condenser microphone to record a video will it automatically produce that condenser microphone sound or do I have to edit that video. I'm thinking of using a gopro and a condenser microphone not sure how to combine those two to produce that sound quality

You need the sound card with your xlr condenser because that’s your power. If you just plug it in without the sound card it will be plugged in but with no power.

I got this BM800 microphone from eBay. Unfortunately, The microphone is not working. I tried to connect the microphone with my 12 Channel mixer. But its not working. What can I do for it? I dont know how to fix this issue. Microphone is in very good condition. My mixer is 12 channel mono. Isnt it compatible? Is there any other way to see if this mic works without panthom power or sounf card?
were u able to make it work using other microphones ? and are you sure mixer is phantom powered ? Condenser microphone has to be phantom powered to make it work.
