Thank you, Cam. Mother has Alzheimers and I am her care giver. Today she is going through one of her mean hateful times. You helped me escape the cruel and harsh comments for a little while. I appreciate you so much.
Stay strong and remember that isn't really her... My mother passed in July from the same thing. Prayers for you and your mother.

Amazing stories. The ones that are hard to believe should not be tossed aside. Put it your memory in the "Unusual" folder. Over time you may hear other stories that link to the strange ones.
Agreed I've heard similar from different people and places. Even seen a history channel sponsored video with the same topics. Massive flying creatures, abductions and "giants"/Sasquatch. If you weren't there then you can't say it didn't happen. Same way I can't say what you did or didn't eat for breakfast.

It's -4° outside, I'm home with the fire roaring, a hot cup of joe and Mr. Cameron Buckner telling me cryptid stories. Life is good when you're a DC fan.

My home burned down in the Carr Fire in northern California. Live in a RV now. I miss my wood stove and the comfort it provided. Over 30 years of enjoyment and warmth.

You have NO IDEA how relevant your intro words are to my situation right now Cameron! I legitimately just got done talking with my one sister about this big move I’m about to make to SLC and how I need to follow my dreams. The reason we got onto that topic was because I was talking with her about how a family member I am close to is unable to break free from what you talk about. In addition to this I was talking to the sister not stuck in this how intuitive warnings and signs pop up when things are awry and how they should be acknowledged. The first video I turn on to listen to is this one which blew my mind. Love you Dixie Cryptid!

I read a couple of post where the people are having a really hard day either from taking care of parents or children leaving. I'm someone who attracts "Spirits". They seem to be drawn to me. They find a way of letting me know when they're around.
It seems like several members of my family on my dad's side all have the "sight".
@@williamlangdon1377 I am a Native American and as a whole we all seem to be a very superstitious bunch of folks no matter the Tribal Nation we're descended from . That said , I live 2 blocks from where the Muskogee Creek Nation settled after the Trail of Tears. I have glimpses of people who are there and then not there at same time.
Sorry I don't know how else to describe it.
In the 1920s my city was impacted by a race riot. I have always avoided one cemetery in town. Well there's evidence pointing a Mass Grave of the riot victims. I knew that cemetery was not Right for the last 20yrs , and the ground penetrating Sonar or Radar ( not sure which was used) was only discovered Spring 2019. I was even right about the location of the tragedy victims even before any thoughts on a Mass Grave were ever considered.

Thank you Mr. Cam we love you and love what you do. We like what you call rambling. Makes me feel like we're sitting around the table or around the fire. We're probably around the same age but I see you like the uncle sitting around telling us stories.
I had an uncle who was a master chief in the navy and spent most of his life on the oceans and seeing the world. When he finally got home on leave he would tell us stories of his adventures. Well what he was able to tell us anyway.

There was a study that proved that these things can't be explained by an optical science mechanism. Science dummies up when they don't know something.. But nice try.

Cam, that Large Bird has been seen by many people, it is called the Thunderbird-several years ago 2 duck hunters on Miss. River Levy close to Tunica seen one fly over them, they said it had the wingspan of a Cub Airplane...
They are also seen often in the south west of the US. In the Navajo and Hopi lands they are frequently sighted.

James--I had my encounter in 72 while Deer Hunting--Nothing Eventful Happened but I have been a Believer for many years...
Oh a couple few ghost encounters but I had 187 acres in venango county Pennsylvania and my fiancé at the time would work odd hours and I would go into the woods at 12-1 at night to cut wood. Used to have rocks thrown at me hitting me multiple times and wood knocks literally 10 yards from me while running the chain saw. And had a visual of a couple chasing down a deer during rifle season and it was damn near dark. One passed on each side of my tree stand

I try to listen to your podcast at least twice a week cause I enjoy your stories and accent, I been told several times throughout my years that I don’t think about what I was talking about before my brain engages. I told them that I have been doing that all my life why should I start now. My best friend that I worked with while I was in Dept. of Natural Resources for the last nine years, our job was to keep the Katy Trail open for bicycles, walking, some horse back riding in some areas. I enjoyed my time with DNR tremendously, I looked forward to the job every day that I was able to be there having several jobs in 28 years 10 months here in Missouri, just trying to say Thanks very much you do a great job, Hope you are able to keep it up.

Love your channel. And I had to move across the country from my family to be able to blossom. I love them, but they are often the most cruel. And wow, I find out they talk "shit" about me, I don't understand it. I love them and don't despair over them or treat them that way. It is crazy what family feels they can get away with. It's weird, it still seems like i need to get it off my chest. Hahaha my brother was trying to make fun of me and I asked him to go with me where I saw the big foot and he said he couldn't run as fast as he used to 😂😂

Dear Cam, You are addictive in a good way. When I stretch out and click on "play", pure bliss surrounds me like a warm blanket. It's more Dixie Cryptid! Perhaps I will be able to relax enough to fall asleep. Cam, from 4:03 to approx 5:19, you give the most amazing life advice to everyone listening and beyond. You are describing the negative people that are everywhere in our country now, they hate this person, that type of person, that race of person (if different from their own) it goes way beyond family members being negative to other family members. Your advice to do your thing, whether it's telling Bigfoot stories to being an artist or actor, singer or songwriter, whatever it is you have a passion to do - go do it. Use the talents and gifts God gave you even if it scares some people and that's what your family and most everyone that discourages folks are doing. Because the thought of trying something different scares them, they could never do that so they don't think anyone else should either. I've got tears and listened to the end of that story and your inspired words of encouragement to not listen to negative people, four times! So glad you chose your own path Cam-we are all blessed by you, your family, dogs and chickens. 😊
