I had a fibroid pregnancy also and it was not easy but so worth it. My daughter measured behind my entire pregnancy but she was a fighter. I ended up having an emergency C-section at 36 weeks. She came out healthy at 4 pounds, 8 oz and didn’t need NICU at all. She will be 3 next month! Your baby is going to be just fine, just keep thanking God in advance for a healthy baby and delivery ❤
Girl they are never right on the size of the baby. I was told my last was too big. I had a C-section at 39 weeks and she was 5 lbs 6 ounces. Don’t worry mama.

Awwww hazel Yes it’s so frustrating when they insinuate that bs when they know your worried & hormonal etc .. they did that shit with me & my husband wasn’t with me at my appointment the one day he didn’t come I was boohooing in the hospital all the way home … to have a healthy ass 6 month old boy lol 🙌🏽God got you 💋
Your baby is fine Hazel. 1 week behind is not a major concern it’s quite normal. Either they couldn’t really get an accurate measure or your baby will be 5-6 something pounds at birth. OR the baby will catch up further along. I understand your concern I have two boys just had my 2nd one 9 months ago.
Hi Hazel! A dermatologist can prescribe you a compound formula to help with baby girls hair growth and of course a diagnosis.
I’m allergic to good ol’ hair glue and I was bald in one spot, my dermatologist took great care of me rx shampoo, oil, and the compound.
I did an amniocentesis each of my pregnancies..... I'd recommend doing it. The news I found out...I needed to know, fortunately and unfortunately. You separately may not have chromosomal abnormalities, but together it can be different. Its extremely scary and frustrating. My children are healthy but I needed to know more information.
I’m 5’3 and 108, both of my pregnancies, I measured very small. They made me go for weekly stress test. I felt like crap every appointment. Both my kids came out just fine. DO NOT STRESS. Your baby will be perfect. Size of the parents matter, you nor Justin are big.
Measuring a week behind or ahead can be normal as sometimes you ovulate a couple days prior or behind what you thought. Esp if you arent tracking your cycle it can be off.
Also at the end why some babies are ready at 36, 37 weeks and others are ready at 40-42 weeks.

Next time she gets braids, let the braiding hair sit in cool water and add vinegar. All that toxic mess will come to the top. I was the same way until I seen that method.

I don’t know what your situation will turn out to be but my baby was always behind on percentile. She is now two years old and still at the 50th percentile. She’s healthy otherwise! I am not going to lie, I was insecure about it but I am finally okay with it. It irked me when people would say that their one year old weigh more than her. We are all different and that’s okay. Praying for a safe and healthy delivery ❤
Hazel great vlog. Your precious baby is just fine. It’s a blessing you know a black female OB that can help alleviate any concerns you may have. Stress less, eating as much as you can and rest will get you back on track. Perhaps an appointment with a dermatologist will diagnose & prevent your daughter having hair loss again. BTW your daughters sound so sweet . They are going to be awesome big sisters. Love that you are posting consistently. 💕💕💕

Hi Hazel! I had two fibroids while pregnant. My baby was measuring a week behind as well, so I know exactly how you feel. My babygirl was 6lbs 5 oz, 20 inches long at birth! She’s 1 year old now and measuring in the 87th percentile. Your baby will be perfectly fine, do not stress ❤
Hazel, one week behind is not super bad. Idk what they are telling you but don’t let them get you this upset. Ultrasounds can be way off - pls don’t be so upset. Did they do the testing for baby to see if he had any issues? Pls don’t cry like that.!

20:00 It might've been a bacterial infection. This can happen from certain weaves, flare ups and itching with unclean hands, which leads to infections, inflammation and irritation. I experienced that when i was a kid and i had eczema which didnt help. My mom took me to a dermatologist and went away. I had yo get my hair cut off too and had to get it cut into a jerry curl. 🥴she will get through this. I love that you always speak life into her. My mom would tell me how beautiful i was, in spite of my hair. I cried soooo bad from getting my hair cut.
Hazel, a week off is fine. My baby was measuring huge and come to find out he was not. Remember, doctors are only “practicing” medicine. They don’t always get it right. I’m glad you talked to the black doctor. Your baby is going to be just fine.
When i had my daughter i had to go to a specialist because they said she was small. I ended up getting induced and had a 5lb 10oz baby. She got so big in the first month out. No nicu no nothing! I’m also a small women, i just carry small babies! Don’t worry!!
Try seeing a dermatologist for baby girl. My daughter had a scalp fungus at 2 yrs old and it left bald spots in her hair. They prescribed a medicated shampoo and her hair grew back really full and long down her back! Hope this helps. And don’t worry and baby! They always talking bout our babies being behind. My son came out 8.1 and I was 130 lbs 😂
Hazel, they told me the same thing, I have a small frame and my baby was measuring smaller. She ended up being 7lbs 14oz. Don’t worry ❤

God got y’all. Baby boy ( I think) will be fine and he may be tiny but mighty and giving you hell. Enjoy your pregnancy and I’m glad your man was there to reassure you and calm you down. I’m loving the consistency and the vlogs love. You showing out and watch next year watch how much you’re channel and audience grows. We both have the same dog carrier. Oh yea it’s definitely think I know the gender after you and your employee chatting it’s definitely giving it away to me😂!!! Maybe you should look for another physician or sit down and speak with her about her communication and see if she’s a great fit for you.
Both of my babies measured small.. I’m 5’1 and was around 100 lbs when I had my first child it was such a stressful thing about me not gaining weight as I should I delivered my son via c section at 31 weeks he was 2lb 6oz and just as healthy as ever no breathing machine needed but those doctors stressed me every visit with the specialist visits 2 times a week and normal ob appointments.. sending love and light for a healthy mom, baby, dad and delivery 🫶🏽
Low birth weight was a placenta issue with my pregnancy.
How did they solve it?
@@yesimhazel_ I just had to go more frequent for weight checks. And they were going to make me have him early but that ended up happening anyway. All was well it was just some faulty placenta thing

I appreciate you taking us on this journey with you ❤ I definitely stand with you on getting a black doctor and nurses if that will make you a bit more comfortable. A second opinion is always great. But baby will be healthy in the name of Jesus 🙏🏾
It’s most likely the fibroid and genetics. I had fibroids while pregnant and the doctors were so weird about informing me. I vlogged about it in my 2nd trimester but honestly being one week off is not a big deal.

A lot of these dr offices tryna make money ! I had my baby not long ago and they asked me everytime I went if I wanted do a chromosome test … I politely declined everytime and they would have an attitude and that’s when I said ooooooh y’all want extra money outta me … not happening lol
I understand the emotion behind your feelings but as a black registered nurse this is honestly why A LOT OF doctors don’t tell patients what’s really going on because they automatically get angry and combative. AGAIN I UNDERSTAND THE EMOTION but anger only holds us back.

They should suggest you see MFM before saying anything. Unless it’s the genetics test at the beginning of pregnancy they can’t tell just off one ultrasound. Measuring 1 week behind could also mean your ovulation and conception dates were incorrect. Dont cry girl. I’m currently experiencing a twin pregnancy and I’m consider high risk just because it’s multiple
Awww Baby don’t cry and don’t stress yourself out. I have five babies and all five of my babies were small. My biggest baby was 5lbs13ozs and my smallest was 4lbs8ozs. My grandmother had 5 children and her biggest baby was 5lbs. They were all healthy and fine. But even with me explaining this to 3 different OBGYN’s only 1 got it. The others said that my size, my grandmother having 5 small babies didn’t factor into anything. It was frustrating. The two had me terrified that something was wrong with my babies. Even with the genetic testing coming back fine. I wouldn’t worry that much about it. I know that is easier said than done because it’s your baby but if your fibroids are taking up a lot of room that probably explains the baby’s growth. Regardless you and baby are in my prayers. 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻

Hazel had you used edge control on your daughters hair? I found I’m allergic to something in edge control products. Once you brush the edges in with the product then you brush up the nape too… itchy…my scalp was so itchy all around the same areas too like your daughters where the hair behind my ears was making the back of my ears itch and it started to thin my edges. Even me laying on my pillow with the edge control residue on it irritated me.

Don't worry Hazel. They did the same with my mom. Tried to get her to take the test and all. Her and my dad said they didn't care either way because they would love me regardless. I was born perfectly healthy. ❤
