@@firydeth Single stack CCW guns are still fine. They just need to have size and weight commensurate with this. Of course the CCP is a chunk. In my case, all my full-sized 9mm's got dumped when I figured out I could shoot my p365 as accurately as those. I kept my db9.
@@firydeth Yeah Walther have been ignoring obvious improvements for their guns for awhile. Adding Glock compatibility for the CCP sights just arrived with the M2+, but it still has the same capacity. Canik's MC9 checks all the boxes of requests that Walther fans have been begging for for a decade at least. Of course the CCP isn't a true Walther anyway; it's made by Umarex in their Arnsberg plant. That might explain why it's so neglected.
@@stopthephilosophicalzombie9017 That and the PK380. The new one just had a styling update, no other improvements. I'm sure it will be the same when the new CCP gets released. Major bummer.
@@firydeth Yeah I love my PPS M1 and my PPQ M1, but I haven't been excited by anything from Walther in a long time. The CCP deserves a total redesign but it will never get one. Edit: When you say "new CCP" do you mean the CCP M2+, or is there another iteration I'm not aware of?
Gracias! I like it very much for myself. 1. I find it very accurate. In this video I hit a target at about 50 meters. I shoot very well with it and love the trigger. 2. The recoil is subjective. It is a small gun and will kick a lot. All guns this size kick a lot. I do not have a problem with it, but I had to get used to it. 3. I had problems with my P15, but kel tec fixed it for free in the US. I think keltec has improved some parts on the gun, and there should be less problems now. I have not heard of any screws coming loose on the gun, except for the sights. The sights should have lok tite put on them. 4. I can't recommend the gun for you, I can only say that it works well for me. 5. Other guns around this price that are also very good are the Mossberg MC2sc, and the IWI Masada Slim.
Good to see you back!!! I really enjoy your videos!
Thanks, I try.
I got rid of a Walther CCP because of the sights. At the time there were no aftermarket sights to substitute.
Yeah, it was also designed when single stacks ruled the CCW world. I think those 2 upgrades (sights and mags) would put this gun back in the game.
