You got to be honest. It was more 27-3, ND took out their main guys with 5 min left and allowed some 2nd and 3rd string to get some play time. This isnt the first time that ND has done this in the season and has allowed teams to put TD in garbage time. It wasnt close at all
Exactly! All of the intelligent commentators have noted that it was never a game and really was 27-3 for all intents and purposes, calling it a blowout. In addition to taking out some key defenders at the 5:00 mark, they also started playing heavy prevent defense, calling off the blitz and stunt dogs that killed IU passing all game.
Yep agree. I have tremendous respect for Indiana as a program this year, but Curt showed up, talked trash, and deserved to be clowned for lying on college gameday and trying to trash ND all week.
ND was up 17-3 at half and the game was done/over/finished. The “furious” comeback begins with ND up 27-3 and 4 mins to go and ND not showing blitzes or pressures that UGA can see. The Irish staff was already in Sugar Bowl prep under 4. The game was baked and the IU stats in the late 4th are mop up time popcorn with no impact on the outcome
I'm all for giving Indiana their flowers. Cignetti deserves coach of the year, deserved their playoff spot, and tbh deserves credit for how close they kept it to Ohio St compared to how Tenn did. But I wouldn't give them credit for keeping it within 10. Al Golden, the DC, said it himself he backed off the defense.
As for JLove, he was sick with Flu-symptoms while playing this game, hence the low snaps. Makes this even more impressive. JLove is unbelievably overlooked
Nobody clowned them for their season. They absolutely deserved their spot. They’re getting clowned because of the arrogance and how they ran their mouth. When you do that you invite the clap backs.
Odd that you started by focusing on Indiana's D when it was their offense that was totally neutered. Up until the last 3 minutes they had under 200 yards of total offense. "A little more physical"? 😂 And Indiana's players didn't quit, but their coach sure did, punting down 17 in the 4th quarter?! The game was over with 2 minutes left, the 14 points they scored were totally meaningless padding.
No one is clowning Indiana, the players or the team. As a Notre Dame fan, I simply didn’t like their coaches big mouth. He let his mouth write checks that his players didn’t have the talent to cash. Let’s be honest, the game wasn’t that close. They scored against a lot of the 3rd team defense, then ND played piss poor against the onside kick. Al Golden called off the dogs. It’s the coaches mouth that was unnecessary.
Uh, let's give ND credit for breaking all of those "missed" tackles...they came in leading the country in yards after contact, right?! It doesn't necessarily mean that Indiana had a bad day tackling, as much as Notre Dame is REALLY good at blocking, angles, really fast, and really tough.
Indiana needs speed on offense. ND single coverage and guys werent getting separation which allowed ND to bring guys and load the box vs the run. Great season though
Indiana not quitting until the end was Curt Cignetti trying to make this loss not look as bad as it was. He did the same thing Ohio State. It isn’t commendable it’s pathetic.
CIGNETTI got himself clowned not Indiana the team and using a bunch of experienced James Madison players on a weak schedule wasn't impressive unless he comes close to it next season without a set of players knowing what he wants to do but they are not 🚫 on the level of teams in the Big 10 conference who will be better and Indiana won't receive the same schedule again it's lightning ⚡ that hit and maxed out ☘️☘️ 10 points difference is hilarious to use from the world 🌎 who say the same game 27-3 and 4 minutes of garbage time luck ☘️☘️
Did you think Indiana deserved in or not?

What analysis drove your pick against Notre Dame in the Army and Indiana games that you may be seeing different now?
ND called of the dogs in the Fourth Quarter.
9:09 he’s getting clowned cuz he was talking MAD SHIT all week
Yep agree. I have tremendous respect for Indiana as a program this year, but Curt showed up, talked trash, and deserved to be clowned for lying on college gameday and trying to trash ND all week.
@@BurgerKingsPersonalChefNonsense. Name one thing
“Furious comeback,” good one.

80.7 PFF Grade for Love on only 22 snaps. Phenomenal player
Come on guys - Cignetti is getting clowned because he runs his mouth. He did this to himself
💯

They lost by 24. Those garbage time points count, but we know what happened there. Foot off gas with backups in on defense.
"We'll figure out next year"... Notre Dame has CJ Carr, a phenom freshman, who will start next year.

That stiff arm by Love to break that one tackle was insane.
Indiana needs speed on offense. ND single coverage and guys werent getting separation which allowed ND to bring guys and load the box vs the run. Great season though
They really didn’t load the box
@westonhull7595 They mixed it up, but bottom line IU needs more speed on offense
The only time Indiana showed fight was against NDs backups. Did y’all actually watch this game??

IU was outclassed. There were way too many non-competitive snoozers in the first round of these playoffs.
