Disrespectful actually 😅 poor staff was probably being so nice and bringing so much stuff because he thinks his restaurant was getting a bad review online... Everyone kept looking so fed up and making disgusted faces. I know it's from being full, but "ugh I'm can't stand this anymore" and "ugh it's gross" looks pretty similar actually 😅
@SkyeAten lighten up a bit, at the end of the day the staff were paid, and I'm sure chris is capable of figuring out whether something is disrespectful or not plus he's mentioned in a previous video or podcast that he apparently contacts people before hand to get permission to film

@@SkyeAten You've gone full "respect the culture" mate, it's not that deep. They get permission before filming these, and talk with the proprietors. Sharla's Japanese is excellent and I'm sure there were no misunderstandings. They've both been doing this a long time and no restaurant doing a food challenge is surprised when people don't finish them.
The sheer degree to which Sharla and Chris shared brain cells in this episode is amazing. You two are truly meant for each other!
Even when buying things for the cat, they both thought almost the exact same things. Buy stingy things, buy a... trampoline (idk how cats would play on a trampoline), buy a bag, they both looked at scratch towers. It's really sweet to see they both know their cats and each other really well.

Yall are literally perfect for each other. You both snuck tuna into each other's bowls, you both saw the trampoline and thought the cat would love it, the gift Chris ultimately went with Sharla had even strongly considered! It's adorable! 😊😭

I love how daily uploads flew out the window haha, I think the series is better off for it though honestly. Gives everyone more breathing room, and the wait between episodes is still more than reasonable
We also found early on UA-cam doesn’t promote videos from the same channel when they come out in quick succession! But all in all uploading every 2-3 days is the perfect amount.

aww that he picked the chips bag that sharla was looking at earlier. chris really did learn about cats! and also actually had the right idea to just throw the bag on the floor when he gets home like normal, if you let the cat "discover" the new thing themselves instead of showing it to them, they are more likely to love it.

Funny, I know little about cats as a dog person, and dogs are the exact opposite. They have no interest in an object until you pick it up, and suddenly it’s the only thing in the world they want

Did we watch the same episode? Hardly any sense of adventure, they literally went shopping and ate at a restaurant.

@@artistuk9590 Totally chill, just because my opionion here is slightly negative, doesn't mean its angry. I'm really enjoying the series as always, its just different from every other JAJ in my opinion. He's got to try different things as a creator and that's fine. But constructive criticism is a good thing and if he gets lesser viewer engagement this time around, he knows what to do next time. Just feels like quantity over quality this series IMO.
I've been really enjoying seeing the camera guys and other members of the group being more and more involved in the videos. Also super nice to see Ian have a larger role in the video 👍
Having Ian be there during the fish eating was kind of like a behind the scenes look and it made the video feel a lot more real and grounded and I liked it

I cannot believe you have managed to produce such high quality videos whilst simulateously trying to turn them around so quickly. This series has been a real Christmas treat and I've looked forward to every episode! Despite the volume of tuna in this episode, my mouth was watering by the end - it looked absolutely delicious! Congratulations to Ian on his very well deserved win! I'd love to see him in front of the camera more often!

Baby sling is a 15/10 big-brain move for older cats, so long term, Sharla's cat gift was better. They love being able to be cuddled up all day, they loving that they can be lazy and nosy at the same time. Decoy bag for cats to lay in is a 15/10 big-brain move for curious cats. All you have to do is bring it outside for a trip, and they go ham on it, thinking it's a fresh, new thing they totally forgot about, and you can save all your other bags from being lined with fur inside and out. So in the immediate, Chris' gift is better. It really is difficult to say what is the better.
I mean if they have a kid thats a future investment 😉

I vote for the Chip Bag. Seems much more sustainable use than the baby sling, unless you find a nice place in the sun to hang the sling for the cats to use whenever.
