This issue is still fresh, hovewer Mr. Ritter precisely described political context, nation's political division, failure / lack of practice of bodyguards and showed, of course, the ability to pronounce the name of our prime minister CORRECTLY - an excellent job. I advise the Baltic States to sit down with Russia to come to an acceptable deal for Russia. All this could have been avoided had Lithuania not infuriated Russia with arrogance and constant threats. If they are counting on NATO or The EU to come to the rescue, they are stupider than I give them credit for.
As for Scott's remarks on being EU citizens as opposed to proud citizens of their respective Countries, as someone who lives in two EU Countries, due to family matters, despite all the continuous propaganda, I'd say the issue is also a "Civil War" scenario in almost every "old EU Country", even in France there is a huge opposition to the EU along with huge support for the EU. So, I don't see it your way, Scott. Ask anyone in Lisbon, Parma, or Rome, and they will answer they are proud citizens of their cities (isn't that what citizens really mean?). I will say, from experience, that EU membership is a 50/50 thing, which swings either way depending on circumstances. One thing is almost a certainty, everybody hates the European Commission, the not elected club of Aristocrats and technocrats which have the sole Executive Power over the EU. How can any European claim to live in a representative democracy?

I had a dream back in 2014/15 when the conflict in Donbas, lunansk... started and situation became medialized. In the dream I Saw a big rocket bearing the CCCP writing on it. And since that one I had few others with this theme of apocalypse... But the most recent in the series was different. I dreament of a old fashioned Coach with horses that was a part of parade that went through London( this was before the coronation of the Charles III.). There was an Assassin that ran to the Coach from a crowd that lined the street. The security managed to incapacitate him/her. And at the end of the dream I Saw the person inside the Coach. It was Vladimir Putin.
