I mean From what I know I think Sorono is a type of Energy and the Thesys wants her to be like a Core unit so maybe It would also be a power source to the theysis system like what it is doing with the Lament this is from my own understanding tho So my what type of being exactly is the shorekeeper is she really a type of ai

I'm pretty sure the game is oriented to be played as a male Rover with all these "close situations" (like Yinlin)... I'm not saying you can't use a female Rover but it makes everything so L-word ! And sometimes that's goofy. Just my opinion btw.

Awesome. I like the relationship between Rover and The Shorekeeper. It's so cute. Kuro somehow made a (sort-of)AI following its' directives be endearing and wholesome, but that might be just because it's a cute girl. Still, it's so awesome and nice, and culminates in one of the most visually (and story-wise) epic sequence that leads you to the chapter's final boss and the heartwarming reunion. And when she opens a portal and smashes a train into another train that's heading straight for you is just peak. Even if you put yourself in danger (to get her back), she will still protect you, even as the Tethys System is trying to consume her, opening portals, smashing trains into trains, and giving you butterfly bullets to wreck TDs.
