Girl I'm LIVING to see you cosplaying, it's fantastic!! A tip for the shoes: We have two ways for pattern. With the shoe on, if you are using some stretch fabric, you can simply outline the foot (sideways) on a paper or directly on the fabric (carefully), as if you were going to make a glove, if it is flat fabric, we wrap it with cling film and secure it with masking tape, then we mark where cutting and sewing, we cut and the pattern is ready

This is exactly how I made SO MANY of my cosplays over the years. I absolutely love your thrift flips for day wear, so it's extra cool to see you using the same methods for cosplay!! My friends and I had this one Goodwill that we shopped at back in 2018 that just always seemed to have everything we needed every time we visited. Such great memories.. Shikamaru is also my favorite character from Naruto! I feel like you really nailed the cosplay without too much fuss (apart from dying the pants and recuting the bolero). Now I wanna try and make my own.

I love your thrift flip cosplay videos! I’m not a very ambitious costume maker, so I always love to see ways to go about shortcuts and penny pinching while still looking cool in the end
This video is amazing and inspiring because my dream is to be a professional cosplayer that now im learning how to make my own costumes, thrift stores are really a cosplayers best friend since they provide what is needed to make our costumes which saves a lot of money because buying costumes can be expensive

Love this, I'd love to see more cosplay stuff in the future!! and nothing against Temari she's really badass but I feel Shikamaru is /basically/ canonically in love with Choji and should have ended up with together. Shikamaru is always annoyed by women (which his dad def taught him) and Choji has been hurt by so many people but was first understood and cared for by Shikamaru. All I'm saying is ...I ship them.

Do you have any tips for sewing the bias onto the fishnet shirt? How do you get the tension right? How do you know how far to stretch it? I always find fishnet really difficult to work with.
