You can build on other people's plots on home tours
Yes, you can, but it does not actually effect the actual plot. Home tours are instanced copies of the original. Anything you do on the copy has no effect on the original.

I added a couple wall pieces in the middle up higher to make the doors a bit smaller and did from sliding type doors out to the sides! Thanks for this who idea!

This video is fantastic! I'm trying to replicate the outside but I've got some major user failure - I can't figure out how to get the walls to group together. I managed it with the stone blocks but the walls just won't stick. Any tips?
Is there a trick to getting the blocks to snap together? I can't get them to snap to each other like you do and yes I'm using the grid.
i don't understand about the cancel part at 2:22 / 2:29 / 3:52 and so on😂
When you go to merge the blocks for the front, how do you pick up that one block? You had us put it together so you could pick them all up at once.
Alt+click picks up everything that is connected. Clicking without alt will only pick up whatever item is highlighted green. I hope this helps!
@@3rdeyemama It actually took me reconnecting them from the other end! When you go to cancel place them, you can't use alt click!

I am doing EXACTLY what you are doing, I went and watched your other video you linked, and it is just not working. Does it just only work for some people and not others? Very frustrating.

@@coadredalert I'm getting closer to this working lol, at 2:20 after connecting it all, how do you pick up just the one side and move it? That's what I'm stuck on now.

2:24 how did u only grab this and not the whole thing ? i cant seem to do it even though i did the tactic with the center block ;-;
It works this way because of back at 1:03 when I started with the center block.

I cant get the cancel to work. I get the 2nd item out and it looks like it canceled but when i grab the core peice to move it all together it moves all teh peices as if they are still connected.
At 2:17 to cancel half the stones... what keys are you using to split the whole thing into 3rds? I don't understand how you are only grabbing 1/3 of the stones.

@@coadredalert doing the same yet it makes me grab everything and not only the 3rd, started with the center block as u did but for some reason it doesnt wana let me do it that way
