@@FoodForestLiving, I actually have no trees so I raked them for some family members and used them. You can always find organic matter somewhere.

Oh gosh I hate finding junk in the leaves. I also go on leave hauls every year. Great content!

@@FoodForestLiving I had left over from last year and used spent hay for the rest this year. I usually get a good 40-60 bags. There is this street 20 minutes from my place lined with maple trees. Every house has like 30 bags in front of their house. So it's s quick and easy destination every year.

Thanks for visiting and commenting on our FAMACHA video - really appreciate it. I wanted to jump over and show you some support as well. This is such a great idea. I really wish we could find a source of leaves, but in our part of NE Florida, most of the trees are evergreens. This is a really great video highlighting how renewable things are that others view as an annoyance. Well done!! I have subscribed to and run that bell to follow along with your channel. - Rick

I've gathered many bags of leaves myself through the years. More recently I've been using deep wood chip mulch. I have a few tree service companies in my area that drop their loads on their schedules. I also got the local city to bring me about 50 dump-truck loads when I wanted to start the fruit tree orchard. Keep up the great work. I love finding that there are others here in Canada who use free resources to improve their gardens.

Thats great! I am searching for arborists and such to dump their wood chips here too, but we are quite out of the way. Fortunately--thanks to family, we have a wood chipper on the way to us !

Way to repurpose and turn one person's "waste" into your "wonderland" 👍
