I love my WR. Take the throttle screw, db killer, and air box restricter out. Swap the ecu with the competition kit (includes the power tuner), and wha-la. Now it is a YZ250FX with a better tuned suspension for trail and or cross country competition. Oh also because people are made to believe this is an entry level bike you can usually get it cheaper than the FX even after the mods. Best kept secret...oops.
Yes, its called a Throttle Stop Screw. You can read all about it here in the install instructions. tiltpen.net/WR250F/GYTR%20Yamaha%2015-16%20WR250F%20Competition%20Kit%20&%20ECU.pdf
Would you recommend lowering the yz250fx for trail riding? The bike seems very tall, so wondering how important it would be to be able to get your feet on the ground.
can i take the battery of my yz250fx? is not a heavy bike but i don´t use it. will it cause problems to the electronics? what can i do to take it of so that nothing bad happens to it.
Hi!! im really struggling with my buying decision for my first dirt bike. im between the beta 390 or the Yamaha WR250F, im going to be only enduro. I'd never been on a dirt bike, but I have plenty experience on motorcycle (currently I own a Ducati monster 821) any suggestions????? im 5'10 and 160lbs. thanks a lot!!!!!
I wish people would talk english instead of trying to impress me with the lingo...then I could figure out better what the real differences are. It seems the videos are meant to help beginners in addition to intermediates and experts right?
wayne Last i don’t think he was speaking over your heard you might need to just learn the lingo and do the research. This is coming from a fairly new rider of less than a year.
@@Djs2k_ I apologize for my tone. Its just Im trying to learn something fairly quickly and all the videos I watch use lingo instead of better scientific terms.

Does taking the throttle screw out ruin the bike and make it over rev?

nzkiwibri how do I find this out for my 06 wr250f
deacon Burton no, you replace it with a shorter screw. That comes. In the ECU kit
Jake Hynds this is only for the newer 2015+ models that use the same engine as the yz250fx

Which one should i get for enduro? Wr250f or yz250f
I like the WR I just Fucking hate the massive space above the light. Way to big in my opinion ruins the look of the bike
fill it with some nice LED indicators so it will be road legal.
