So suffice to say, it takes a lot to get me motivated and excited about a band. Will Ramos has re-ignited my excitement for metal and deathcore in a massive way. Endlessly listen to sun/eater while showering. Listen to of the abyss endlessly while driving. So fuckin stoked for their upcoming album in October. Hope Lorna Shore comes to Cincy, OH soon! I'm 32 and I feel the exact same way man. Literally wrote what I was going to put. Will has sky rocketed to the best vocalist in Metal for me, hands down.

I know they're labeled as "deathcore", but I don't think that does the band justice. Hardly any band out today has their "flare", or "sound", "style". Only a few bands are recognizable before the vocalist even opens his mouth, at least for me. That's Tool, Archspire, Vulvodynia (believe it or not 😂) and DevilDriver. That's my instant or at least almost instant one's. Oh and Lorna Shore🤣

I think the most impressive part of your vocals is just how relaxed your technique is. Specifically with extreme vocals I'm used to seeing singers sweating/losing breath, or just straight up straining their voices to cover such range. Its fascinating how effortless you make it all look. Amazing stuff- can't wait to see where Lorna Shore takes you!
I think one trick with this is to get very close to the mic so it picks up more of your voice so you don't have to strain as hard to be louder.
As an amature vocalist of eight years, I have no idea how he makes these sounds without the appearance of pushing hard as hell, especially some of his lows. I lose all the texture of my growls when I try to do his songs without straining....he is incredible, totally next level. The ceiling for great vocals has been pushed even higher since Will dropped on the scene
@@chickentendies7023 get a mic setup brother. I'm doing the same thing here. I can do what he does just not project it I think a mic is what I'm missing. To do his gobliny demon scream you have to fry scream while doing golem voice but his lows are pretty darn unique
@@MetalRaydown It's not about his head, it's more the throat that needs to be relaxed, especially the inner workings of the throat. You can see the same vein popping out with people who sing normally

same here dude. I started doing vocals 4 months ago and I'm doing good nit straining my voice but my only problem was i cant hold false chord screams like for 10 secs. I can probably hold 5 secs of solid low as of the moment and i swear i am breathing and screaming from my diaphragm is it just because of the cardio?

the amount of things that we can see hapening in his face, the veins popping, the tongue spots, the throat moving... This guy literally built his own concept of vocals from nothing and mastered it. Ridiculously impressive.

Yeah, deathcore has never been my cup of tea. I'm more of a thrash/death/black/doom metalhead myself, but Lorna Shore is quite different than most deathcore bands, they have a unique style/sound that I can't get enough of! The whole band is insanely talented, and of course Will is just the cherry on fucking top!

I have been eating up Ramos vocals, interviews, and anything else I can. He seems like the coolest friend. He seems super down to earth and knows what he can do without being egotistical. The more I see, the more I want more of his vocals. Of Lorna Shore. But mostly of Will, because who he is seems SO amazing!

It’s very interesting. From what I’ve observed, everyone’s favorite is evenly split between all three tracks!
Some love To the Hellfire, some think Of the Abyss is the best, others feel And I Return to Nothingness is number one.
Regardless of which is your favorite, it just shows the all around amazing quality of the EP. How there isn’t one track that stands out above the rest. They all have their unique touch.

An additional comment, sorry. I had my gauges up to an 1 1/2. We live in the Northeast. It’s much better to gauge down in winter due to dry skin and if you have eczema and psoriasis as I do. Gauge back up in the spring through fall seasons. Just some advice for Northerners 🤟
