Overall, this album was fantastic from top to bottom! But, I can confirm "Countdown To Love", "Love Story", and "Late Night Calls" so far are my top 3 fave b-sides off of this one!! Can’t pick a favorite. These guys are just hitting their stride. Like the rest of their discography…their songs are just addictive and fun. The vocals are amazing and the rap line is crazy good. I read in an interview that this was initially going to be another mini album, but the members insisted on doing a full album….and they fought to have Late Night Calls, 2Nite and Street Star included on the album. FNC just needs to trust them and let them do their thing because they got it! I really think Late Night Calls should be promoted on US radio as a follow up to Fall In Love Again. FILA has charted in the top 30 for US Pop radio play for over 8 weeks! I think it has such an interesting sound and the lyrics would really appeal to that audience.
Thanks for solid reaction^^ as a musician my bias is Jiung of course and proud of his composing talents for Piwon and QM. ‘ I see u ‘ chorus highlight his creativity in making melody out of keyboard pitch effect and that’s special , if you know you know.. Jiung really loves doing difficult harmony layers and he did it in Love story makes the chorus unique. Also like his various vocal technique use in each song to match the groove and genre. Brilliant! Did you watch It’s Live when Piwon perform killin it ? Cool esp. Jiung changed his sing-dance groove to match live band arrangement. Gosh this man is gonna be huge I bet.
