Hello Abdalla, I have just remembered that I covered how to implement documents via the quick links web part in my Video titled "How to build a SharePoint Online Communication site - Landing Page". If you watch this video from 18:50 minutes in, it will cover what you need to know: ua-cam.com/video/kJxZYWTXSFs/v-deo.html
@@DeepApnea Hello for the UK, I am glad you are all sorted. Quick links are in the menu when you add a web part to a page. Yes, I am planning future videos, I hope to bring more out soon. Thank you for liking and subscribing ☺️
Great tutorial! I had a question, I customized the classic version for my site and my sub pages have the background image but my home page does not. I can't find where to apply my designs to it.
Hello Ryan, are you on linkedIn? I am happy you send you a short 1min video of how I changed my background image if you wish. If this is something you would like, send me a LinkedIn request and I shall get that video over to you. Thanks LinkedIn = www.linkedin.com/in/lauren-key/
Hello @Jessica J, To change the logo: 1)Click the cog/gear button in the top right hand side of your SharePoint teams site. 2) Select "Change the Look" 3)Click the arrow next to "Header" 4) Scroll that menu pane down to the bottom 5) Click "change" to change the "Site logo" and "Site Logo thumbnail" 6) You will need to then select the image you want to replace the logo with through selecting your desired image via browsing your folders and clicking "Open". 7) Then click "Save" at the bottom of the header Menu pane. Key Point: If you don't click save and instead just exit the Header Menu Pane, your logo will not update. Your logo by default is a clickable button back to your homepage. Note: You can also access the logo through going through this methods: -Cog > Site Information > Change site logo. I hope this helps 😃
Hello, As I don't know the full concept of your supermarket management system, the advice I could give is that if this case study requires your team members to contribute content, then it will need to be a Team site. However, if the site will be focused on broadcasting or communicating a message to the company, then use a communication site. As stated in the Microsoft tech community, a communication site is normally a few individuals/administrators providing content for allot of readers, with the security groups following the "owners/members/visitors". I hope this helps, Lauren
I am sorry to disturb again, but can you tell me which can be admin site and 2 subsite from Orders ,Item , Customer -- according to general hierarchy...
@@harshwaghulde hello, Apologies, as I don't know the ins-and outs of what you are trying to build I am unable to answer that specifically. Though in regards to "subsides", this is a good read. It is recommended to use flat site structure, rather then using subsides. sharegate.com/blog/sharepoint-information-architecture-benefits-flat-site-structure
