This is IMO one of the cleanest, most creative, and technically skilled band in the genre. Truly talented musicians here. And from my state of Massachusetts!
If anyone is interested in the string-gauges anyway, they use a custom set of Dean Markley Blue Steel 70 - 15 tuned to Drop G#. Pretty fucking badass if you ask me. And goddamn I want to own a Caparison.
@Pwnersupreme Haha, no I meant 50's for Drop C/Drop B. I've only went to Drop G# once and my strings were really floppy and there was no intonation at all so I just stick to C/B now.
@Pwnersupreme I don't know about you, but I'm usually satisfied with 50's. I didn't even know there were 70's available for guitar :P. And they don't use extended scales. Jay usually uses an ESP/LTD EC-1000 Deluxe (not sure if he has a standard ESP now) and Joe sticks to his Caparison Dellinger II.
