This was a tough week for Harry he was robbed at knife oint on Valentines night near his house he got away nd a few nights before the performance his Ex Girlfriend Caroline Fkack committed suicide he was very emoional and thats his girls from his band playing the piano in a fountain phenominal and that is a Gucci suit he is wearing very expensive he is a King of Entertainment
As a metal fan, your reaction video to Harry Styles is honestly the first time I have ever heard him sing! I must say that I was pleasantly surprised by the tone of his voice and his vocal technique & emotion. Happy to find he is not just some teen idol purely for his looks but he can actually sing. Yay!
I like metal too. You should check out his song sign of the times. It's not metal but I feel you might like it.

My favorite musical genre is hard rock, I'm a Led Zep, Queen and Iron Maiden fan, but no so long ago discovered Harry Styles as well. I had to realize that he is a born rock star, inspired by the 70s, 80s music.
I recommend you to listen to some of his heavier tunes, won't regret it :)

That's the video that got me listening to Harry as a serious artist, not just the mop-haired, cheeky boy bander that he was in 1D. Not that he couldn't sing then. He certainly could! But he and his sound have both matured nicely.
I never listened to One Direction and I have heard Harry Styles sing a few times and he does wear Retro looking clothes, platform shoes, velvet outfits with a bit of a puff sleeve at the shoulder. Rock singers take fashion liberty.
He has a very good voice. I could see getting a few songs to stream.
I am older, all The Icons were what I listened to so new is difficult and I seem to be set in my ways, I do try to have an open mind.
I can say I liked the song and he has a good voice. ( aside from the lace he wore a white dress cotton white glove so his clothes are eclectic.)
Again, he has a powerful voice and good control. I like what you said about breath control & breathing.
(I have to confess, I am consumed by Hua Chenyu who did some amazing songs on The Singer 2020 & he won, no t one song was the same I am begging to please go over the songs, the song & his clothes are amazing - I almost cannot listen to many other singers)

I love the way Harry breathes, too. I didn't really notice it until his Grammy performance of Watermelon Sugar, I think because it was so quiet in there you could hear a pin drop. Now I notice it all the time. He has a very whispery breath, whereas someone like Damiano David has a very audible breath. Also Harry's voice has a warmth (mixed voice?) to it that accentuates the emotional aspect of his songs. Those two things combined give his songs a heartfelt quality like no other.

I would like to recommend Hua Chenyu's latest "Bullfighting"MV. Please watch it and share how did you understand it and your comments. Personally, I love it.

Haha I love Harry and this performance with my whole heart but that outfit is one of his worst! So much attention is on his style and his looks, etc that I think it can go unnoticed what an excellent vocalist and musician he has become. I love his low tone, his rasp and the little flourishes he puts into live performances. He’s got no hipster singing affectation so I agree that it’s a voice that will age well. And you can actually hear the words. This is my favorite kind of live show where he’s drawing energy from the crowd but it’s so quiet and he can be heard.
