Bro I just saw Michael Vick in the American Flag Football game here in San Jose yesterday. Best QB I've ever seen EVER! He was casually flicking 65 yard + passes without even cocking back. Perfect passes, passing them open with a tight spiral. One pass he missed and it hit the back wall sounded like a damn gunshot! No joke if you've never seen Vick live you've truly missed out on the greatest ever
I was able to hang out with him last summer, dude told me “do you think you can handle an out route with a full speed pass?” No gloves, btw. Bro that shit left my hand burning for two days 😂 he’s the best.

The thing about Michael Vick, if we're trying to explain to kids how different he was, is that this wasn't a league filled with mobile or dual threat QB's, or RPO's integrated from the college game. The idea of a QB running for a first down on 3rd and 5+ would've left most players and coaches crippled emotionally. You couldn't rationalize designing such a play at this point. This was a player who athletically was better, more gifted then perhaps anyone on the field. We talk about players who are just blazing fast QB's like RGIII was, or incredibly mobile like Russell Wilson is. But Vick was the first time people can probably remember, sans Cunningham comparisons, a QB was *faster* then the defense. And this was at a point in which we weren't really paying attention to if the Peyton Mannings of the world could run a 40 faster then their offensive lineman. Vick was the type of special at his peak that you described as magic in a bottle that you desperately wanted stoppered. He could outrun your defensive lineman and 'backers, and could outthrow your CB's and safeties deep. He barely scratched his potential by all accounts talent wise, which is why these highlights are so special. He wasn't playing over his head, he belonged certainly, but in a category the league wasn't truly ready to add yet. The fact that today, as KTO says, we have highlights of him is a disservice in the sense that it doesn't actually explain truly why at one point he was the most feared QB in the league on sundays.
I have so many great memories during my college years of watching Mike Vick with the Falcons. That game at Green Bay was the stuff of legend and it's such a shame that the Falcons couldn't win a Super Bowl during this time. Had Vick fine-tuned his passing game a bit more, I have no doubts that he would have taken the Falcons to the promised land. It was fun while it lasted though. His talent was unreal!
I live about 10 min from lane stadium and you just can't understand how special Vick was. I saw him do things that are just impossible. The speed, the agility and the ability to throw a ball on a frozen rope. We just called it the Vick flick. It was so effortless. We will never have another one close to his ability. Thanks for coming to Blacksburg to play ball.
I remember towards the end of my high school years and my years in community college seeing people wearing Michael Vick stuff and Vick jerseys and athletic gear in stores and pretty much everywhere, he was big in Virginia. I liked Madden 2004 because he was so unstoppable in that game, there was no other game where he stood out more than '04.
The Micheal Vick era of Eagles was when I really became an Eagles fan. I still remember watching that amazing Eagles vs Giants comeback as it happened. Clips don't do it justice.
As a life long Falcons fan, I'll always be thankful for his years as a dirty bird. If he had put in just a bit more film study, he would've won a ring with them. I don't have nor ever did hold any grudges towards him for his mistakes, cause in the end...he's only a man like the rest of us all. He regretted it, paid his debts to society. As an Eagles fan, I was hype when he came to Philly. HE would have had a much longer career here had the O-Line been better later on. He really took a beating there near the end. Which also proves for a little guy he is one tough SOB. I enjoyed his time here thats for sure!
Yeah Michael Vick made everyone think about how powerful a dual threat QB can and should be in the NFL but it'll be really hard to find the next Michael Vick because he did everything on instinct and that's hard to replicate in-game.
@@charliewilliams9722 As he's running with the ball, looking for a player to throw to, I believe you just have to keep running for a second or two longer in either direction and then he'll start to scramble with the ball
Vintage Mike Vick was the Best back then and he made Defenses dictate what they will do. Will they have QB Contain on a player to stop Mike Vick from running off the edge? Will they risk Crashing the D-Line? What will they do and Mike Vick wastes NO TIME shredding Defenses!!!
The eagles shut him down in the nfc championship game in 2004 they had the perfect blueprint to contain him jim Johnson was a genius defensive coordinator we had some ballers on that defense too, Jevon Kearse Brian Dawkins jerimiah trotter hue Douglas Lito Sheppard Sheldon brown they were loaded , Vick had one of his worst games as a falcon who would of knew he’d be playing for us almostgetting us to a super bowl lol and we should of beat Aaron Rodgers that day Vick made a poor decision I felt to just put one up for Riley copper I mean he’s Riley cooper we had so many other weapons to go too d Jackson Jeremy maclin shady McCoy Brent celek Jason avant- that offenses was the fastest offense ever put out on a field at one time together!!he should have at least one ring it’s a shame.if the eagles didn’t stop him that year in 04 I think he could of single handedly beat the patriots by himself in that super bowl that year Brady was not the Brady he is today not yet ,
Awesome player I loved watching Michael Vick’s playing style from the handoffs to the runs hands down the leagues best player. Everything about him was so sincere. I love watching this guy play at the time I wanted him to score on every play just love watching him play wow love your style you and everything thing about it
As an Eagles fan, I still get goosebumps every time I see something about the "Miracle in the Meadowlands Number 2!" I hated Vick for what he did and did not want him on the Eagles, but he has been nothing but an absolute professional since. He is living proof that people can change if they want to. His career in Philly may have been relatively short lived, but he is one of the most respected Eagles of the modern era.
William Rayner everyone makes mistakes. He made his and owned up to it and let it change him for the better. Could you imagine if a whole nation of people never let you live down some dumb mistake you made? Would be totally nerve wrecking.
Vick and Cunningham are my 2 favorite (retired) Qb's. yes i know there are alot more hall of fame Qb's, but Vick and Cunningham is special to me. they're just amazing. great video man!
I'll never forget watching Vick on a Monday night when he was with the falcons. He scored a TD and it was challenged with the other team saying his knee was down. On the replay it looked like Vicks knee was not down because he appeared to literally hover over the turf for a couple of yards. The guy was apparently superhuman
It’s tough to see a guy as talented as Vick, by his own admission, underutilize the gifts he had. Most rushing QBs couldn’t even dream of having half the arm that Vick did, plus a rushing ability that makes most RBs jealous. Imagine if he had applied himself fully. Atlanta could have had a lot of rings if prime Vick reached his full potential
I don't think we'll see someone quite like Vick for a long time, if ever. He was truly unique, and if he wasn't hampered by injuries and jail time, I think he could be a contender for Top 10 quarterbacks of all time.
His brother also played for VT and people say that he was actually better than him. But he was always getting into trouble and was very undisciplined which caused him to eventually not play football at all.
I remember when I was 8 (I think) and played football and Micheal Vick came to the stadium we was playing at that morning and was signing this one picture of himself when he was on the Eagle's. He's still my favorite player of all time in the NFL despite his "shaky" past and I'm glad I got to see him in person and will never forget that experience.
He was such a threat. Literally a game changer in it’s purest form. Fastest man on the field at all times. Two spies, zone coverages, blitzes it didn’t matter. Even if your defense was perfect the only thing stopping him was himself. Legend.
If my life depended on winning a football game, Michael Vick in his prime would be my QB. The moves of Barry Sanders, an arm stronger than Elway, a release faster than Marino, and the speed of Willie Gault.
I actually play quarterback for my school and got to work with micheal Vick at one of his camps he is one of the most humble guys I've met !! Great guy
TBH I think if any of us had his ability while being that young and having all those accolades...only to join the league and make grown men, fathers of households, look absolutely silly, fearing being on the same field let alone the same play with you....we'd probably make some bad decisions. It might not have been what he done but with all that early success, ability, and people in absolute awe of you, it becomes that much harder to keep a level head, especially if you don't have a strong friend circle around you.
If Vick didn't go to jail and stood with the Falcons they would've actually has at least 2 rings on that team. I remember the Falcons 2014 season being pretty decent but statue Matt Ryan can only handle himself while he's in the pocket. What a waste of potential. His foolish choice killed his career.
M.K. Cooper 2 💍s!!..? yeeeaaa rt,he wasnt anywhr, nowhr near close 2 bn good enuf of a picket passr 2 consistently win that much &at that level yr n/yr out,but thn again, coulda possibly got em 1,mayb 2 IF he'da actually workd on his skills, developd a bettr skill set &stayd healthy, but most def woulda had 2 gr8ly improve!! &he was tha fastest qb n maddn but their wer plenty of dudes w a speed r8ing of 96(+)&👆!!
I remember on every drop back he planted that back foot and when he stepped up in the pocket you just did not know what he was going to do. Vick and Dunn was a tandem that scared every NFL team.
D Franklin34 I think so. He could have been first ballot, but with the things he did and the time he missed, it will take a while but he'll eventually make it in.
D Franklin34 yep, Vick's play and impact on the NFL speaks for itself. He kinda reminds us a little of Bo Jackson. No other player has a similar mystique to Bo like Vick did. Forget his case, if Big Ben has a chance of getting in the Vick better be in the same conversation. The main person who won't give Big Ben a nod for the HOF is that one chick ran up on. As for Vick, PETA, man PETA...shut up already. I don't support what Vick did but he served his time, paid the fines and everything and then put in the work on the field.
D Franklin34 You clearly dont know football his numbers are TERRIBLE for HOF Qb lol 23k passing yards in 13 seasons? Only 133 passing TDs? 88 INTs? 56% Career passing completion? Even with his Rushing yards 6k and 36 TDs he also had 41 Fumbles. Barely broke 3k passing yards in a season twice. Not even close
Mike Vick was an absolute savage! Being from Newport News myself, I still have that #7 Falcons Jersey hanging in my closet, as we speak. I really like your videos bro, this capped off the night for me.... Thanks brother! Keep doing your thing!
Remember...there's TONS of plays that never made it to the highlight realm because maybe it was a missed catch, penalty or something else. I watched his preseason games in Philly and there's plays he made people probably will never know about unless you watch EVERY GAME (season and preseason)
My uncle practiced with tech his freshman year but ultimately decided to not play because it would interfere with his life plans too much. However, when he was in practice he managed to sack Vick and the Roanoke Times ran a story on it. He still tells that story.
Could you imagine how great Michael Vick would have been if he really worked hard at his game and didn't go to prison? I remember getting into football BECAUSE of him, and I might even be a falcons fan today if he stuck around
Jackson is one of my fav WR and punt returner. And I remember seeing that live. They were my fav team and at the time my family like the redskins n Steelers. So there was always that rivalry. But the eagles dominated
Well... It's similar with Bo Jackson except for other reasons... i honestly don't like the heavy emphasis on stats instead of impact (which is hard to meassure & compare hence stats). But that's the Hall of Fame, i doubt people would pass on either of them just for any HOF if they had to create a team to play some ball.
@@Teschim Bo Jackson played 38 games, Vick played in 143 (started 129). It's not similar to Bo. Vick averaged for his career/game: Passing: 174 yds 1.03 tds Rushing: 86 yds .27 tds Total Passing: 22,464 yds 133 tds Total Rushing: 11,024 yds 36 tds Total Combined 33,488 yds 169 td over 129 complete games. That's 1.31 TD/GM, 259 yds/GM Eli Manning has 1.51 TD/GM and 243 yds/GM. Vick WOULD have made HOF IF he somehow could have kept the pace up but a running qb generally can't. As it is, short career (~8.5 seasons) and the dog fighting, I think no way!
@@mohnjarx7801 so you argue that Bo wouldn have made it into the HOF if it werent for his injury or if he prioritized the NFL? The point im trying to make is that stats do not necessarily reflect once ability to win games at any given time. A player with a short lived time in the league wont make it into the HOF despite how great his feats might be. To put it simple, if you had to pick a RB for your team and you've got to choose between Bo or any HOF RB (all in their prime), who'd you choose?
The guy whose name you couldn’t say was refered to as KGB he was a beast that’s why he was always close enough to actually get a hand on him. I’m a redskins fan too. I remember that Monday night game. True story: I told my boy that I had a bad feeling about the game about 30 minutes before it started.
Sure what he went to prison for was a little skin irritating. But cannot deny the fact that he is the GOAT. He has the arm and accuracy of Brees. Intelligence of Brady. And he's like a more athletic Mariota.
Correction: he was 19 during that season at Virginia tech, not 18... my bad guys! Anyways, enjoy

How do you scramble on that game I bought it recently for ps2 and cant figure t out
@@charliewilliams9722 As he's running with the ball, looking for a player to throw to, I believe you just have to keep running for a second or two longer in either direction and then he'll start to scramble with the ball
Vick rule
What a pussy rule
I'm an eagles fan that giants game had me in tears of joy to see Vick come back and make such a strong comeback was great
Vintage Mike Vick was the Best back then and he made Defenses dictate what they will do. Will they have QB Contain on a player to stop Mike Vick from running off the edge? Will they risk Crashing the D-Line? What will they do and Mike Vick wastes NO TIME shredding Defenses!!!
Ian A Dickson madden terms😂😂
William Rayner You hated him for what he did and I hate white people for everything they did and continue to do.
Vick and Cunningham are my 2 favorite (retired) Qb's. yes i know there are alot more hall of fame Qb's, but Vick and Cunningham is special to me. they're just amazing. great video man!
I hope they let Lamar Jackson play QB in the NFL. He and Marcus Vick are the closest thing I've seen to Michael
George's Opinion i can't wait for lamar jackson to get in the NFL
Rabbid Rabbit true, but even Mike himself said Lamar is if not close to being as good as him, but maybe better..
Who is Marcus vick
Aidan O'Keeffe Michael Vick's younger brother. Played for the Miami Dolphins
Don't forget Tyrod Taylor, he is the prodigy of Vick. He's just like a sleeping giant tho, ha ha
Great production.
You highlight some incredible distinctions of Mike Vick.
Good work.
You had to mention the Giants game didn't you 😡😡😡
Tomer Ronen totally
Tomer Ronen
I remember watching that game on a small tv in a bath a few years back when I wad younger. I was like 'holy shit.'
Tomer Ronen Well he had to Giants choked super badly lmao they should get that L. W to Eagles
Tomer Ronen Have to...fuck the Giants
you can mention the game, just don't mention or God forbid play the Jackson punt return around me.
I salute you for adding the Michael Vick experience! Great video
Awesome content. Awesome channel. Very few tubers make me stop and watch. Surprised that i wasn't already subbed.
ESPN NFL 2k5 I'm pretty sure Vick had a 99 arm...so in addition to having Marvin Harrison/Randy Moss speed, the guy had an arm that rivaled Favre's =0
He has the the ability to be a RB and a good QB at the same time you know this guys is just pure beast
whenever someone says that Rodgers is the most talented qb I just shake my head
He was the most electrifying QB in history and he has untouchable records to date; He should be in a 'limited section' in the Hall of Fame!
KTO you are hands down the best YT sports channel
It’s tough to see a guy as talented as Vick, by his own admission, underutilize the gifts he had. Most rushing QBs couldn’t even dream of having half the arm that Vick did, plus a rushing ability that makes most RBs jealous. Imagine if he had applied himself fully. Atlanta could have had a lot of rings if prime Vick reached his full potential
This was the best time to be a Falcons fan, we still love him like family
I don't think we'll see someone quite like Vick for a long time, if ever. He was truly unique, and if he wasn't hampered by injuries and jail time, I think he could be a contender for Top 10 quarterbacks of all time.
His brother also played for VT and people say that he was actually better than him. But he was always getting into trouble and was very undisciplined which caused him to eventually not play football at all.
I don't know of anyone who would say his brother was better than him. He was nowhere near the pure athlete Mike was.
He was not as good, and in the NFL he would have been converted to a wide receiver like edelman.
vVPrototypeVv they did say that especially the year he was coming into the draft. It was said by many people and many analysts.
Marcus did play in the NFL, he played for the Miami dolphins. Marcus was a receiver predominantly and a kick returner.
Whoever said that is an idiot. I watched them both in college and the hype for Marcus wasn't even close to what Mike was getting
I was so proud of #7 to fall and get back up. That takes God and alot of tenacity... God bless you Vick, the real comeback kid. Salute
He was such a threat. Literally a game changer in it’s purest form. Fastest man on the field at all times. Two spies, zone coverages, blitzes it didn’t matter. Even if your defense was perfect the only thing stopping him was himself. Legend.
Could you imagine if Vick was as intelligent THEN as he is NOW? He might have been a hall-of-famer with the mindset he has today.
Great guy
He was the most electrifying QB at his best, and has several unbroken records. He should have a special place in THE HALL OF FAME
I think the Packers #94 is the announcer for American Ninja Warrior!
I looked it up and #94 is actually the announcers older brother
Akbar
I call blasphemy, he and his brother and entire family should be banned from TV forever because of that play. Come on America
Vick was special. One of the greatest to never claim the chip.
Another top quality video KTO keep it coming buddy!
It was his uncle doing the dog fighting, not him.
Mike Stanis but he knew of it being on his property and did participate
DryAssChicken You mean the 2014 Falcons that went 4-12 or 6-10. Yeah man, those were good teams that were bad becasue of Ryan lol
M.K. Cooper Well they started out 6-0
I’m so glad to have been able to watch this dude as i was growing up.
My favorite moment if his career was when a Philly paper, upon his gaining a starting role, printed: "TOP DOG!"
I remember on every drop back he planted that back foot and when he stepped up in the pocket you just did not know what he was going to do. Vick and Dunn was a tandem that scared every NFL team.
The biggest "what if" in SPORTS HISTORY !
How he never won a Heisman is crazy to think about
Does anyone think he deserves to be in the HOF?
D Franklin34 I think so. He could have been first ballot, but with the things he did and the time he missed, it will take a while but he'll eventually make it in.
Its_only_martin
I hope so. He has redeemed himself and deserves it
D Franklin34
yep, Vick's play and impact on the NFL speaks for itself.
D Franklin34 You clearly dont know football his numbers are TERRIBLE for HOF Qb lol
23k passing yards in 13 seasons? Only 133 passing TDs? 88 INTs? 56% Career passing completion?
Even with his Rushing yards 6k and 36 TDs he also had 41 Fumbles. Barely broke 3k passing yards in a season twice. Not even close
G Harmon
It's far more than statistics. The way he shook the league was like no other. He was great through and through.
Awesome! Your videos never seize to amaze!
What if the chargers didnt trade away that pick
that wasnt their mistake..they took brees in that draft with the 32nd pick.
the mistake was giving up on Brees. not to knock Philip Rivers btw
N
Mike Vick was an absolute savage! Being from Newport News myself, I still have that #7 Falcons Jersey hanging in my closet, as we speak. I really like your videos bro, this capped off the night for me.... Thanks brother! Keep doing your thing!
God I miss Jackson leshean Vick and macklin
Can't spell them though
Remember...there's TONS of plays that never made it to the highlight realm because maybe it was a missed catch, penalty or something else. I watched his preseason games in Philly and there's plays he made people probably will never know about unless you watch EVERY GAME (season and preseason)
Go Ravens!
My uncle practiced with tech his freshman year but ultimately decided to not play because it would interfere with his life plans too much. However, when he was in practice he managed to sack Vick and the Roanoke Times ran a story on it. He still tells that story.
4 stories that prove how special Ron Mexico was
Could you imagine how great Michael Vick would have been if he really worked hard at his game and didn't go to prison? I remember getting into football BECAUSE of him, and I might even be a falcons fan today if he stuck around
The craziest thing is that he wasn't even a lefty! Imagine if he learned to throw with his dominant hand.
If he threw with his left, it was his dominant hand.
Vick was a right handed he trained his self to throw left
he most certainly is LH. he did an interview 2017 with Tony Gonzales explaining it and says he is LH.
They ever clock that mans top speed? After all the years of watching him i still can't believe how fast he was
Can you do a video on how the Texans will do this season
Jackson is one of my fav WR and punt returner. And I remember seeing that live. They were my fav team and at the time my family like the redskins n Steelers. So there was always that rivalry. But the eagles dominated
I love him
Awesome vid. Watched every game he played as you knew something awesome would happen!
Mike Vick is a Hall of Famer they won't let in.
Stupid mistake Might as well murdered a person God damn shame
@@Teschim Bo Jackson played 38 games, Vick played in 143 (started 129). It's not similar to Bo. Vick averaged for his career/game:
Passing: 174 yds 1.03 tds
Rushing: 86 yds .27 tds
Total Passing: 22,464 yds 133 tds
Total Rushing: 11,024 yds 36 tds
Total Combined 33,488 yds 169 td over 129 complete games. That's 1.31 TD/GM, 259 yds/GM
Eli Manning has 1.51 TD/GM and 243 yds/GM.
Only racist white ppl contradicting love watching us play sports but hate us lol
Michael Vick is so inspirational I wish I was like him breaking ankles
Mike Vick best quarterback ever!
SaintsFan09 nope
SaintsFan09 lol you're stupid he ain't even anywhere near drew Brees and Tom Brady the real GOAT 🐐
Boston Burke He would have been one of the greats.
Chiefs Fanboy yeah if he wasnt an awful human
Falco Burke he a would of practiced and tried he could o been on their level
The guy whose name you couldn’t say was refered to as KGB he was a beast that’s why he was always close enough to actually get a hand on him. I’m a redskins fan too. I remember that Monday night game. True story: I told my boy that I had a bad feeling about the game about 30 minutes before it started.
Who's your favorite team?
Lightning Tiger cardinals
Lightning Tiger Cleveland Browns!
KTO I'm proud of you for not giving up on them.
Lightning Tiger I never will. We on the comeback!
KTO I shall clap for you!! *claps*
Black falcons jersey might be my favorite NFL jersey ever
Sure what he went to prison for was a little skin irritating. But cannot deny the fact that he is the GOAT. He has the arm and accuracy of Brees. Intelligence of Brady. And he's like a more athletic Mariota.
MikeyBoy hell yea I didn't even know who Brady was back than
Lol a more athletic mariota
THEHEADNDRO what's funny about that? Are you denying Mariota's athleticism?
Isaiah Singletary To somewhat relevant mobile QBs it's an accurate comparison.
A little skin irritating?
Die hard birds fan, I loved my Vick Era I get chills every time I think about the Eagles Giants game.
