I don’t think the loss of Tibet independence could be blamed on one individual only. I personally feel that it were the combination and series of misjudgment and failure in bringing the needed reform (and at times even barring the reforms/reformers) by the ruling government comprised of both KaShag (mainly KuDrag’s) and the Regent, TaDrak Rinpoche.
