A student tried to run a Kotlin application using Visual Studio code since he was curious about running Kotlin applications on it. As of the writing of this post, there is no official Kotlin extension from JetBrains to compile and run Kotlin code in VSC Nevertheless, since VSC is a text editor, you can write apps in it but you might need to compile and run using the terminal. By the way, has anyone used Fleet? The JetBrains alternative to VSC? As of the writing of this post it is still in preview and has features missing but I can see myself using it more than VSC. Just not yet...
