I have P0171 and P0174, and rattling noise when accelerating. When I tried to fix the noise and took out the valve, I found the flap is worn and excessively loose ( cheap plastic part used by BMW.). After seeing this video, I am pretty sure all my problems are caused by the valve. Good video and explanation. Thanks. Waiting for the part to come...

Is there a way to diagnose the disa valve.? I’m getting a lean code and I did a smoke test and I got no smoke.
