The Byrds’ version was tailored for John F. Kennedy. Both are heart-grabbers. The traditional versions of the song are great, too. Willie Nelson, Jerry Jeff Walker, Dave van Ronk, and others have beautiful versions. But Max! I want more of you! You are so talented and a joy to listen to. I’ll keep searching.
