- Today we're teaching you about 50 sports and activities signs including a few sentences that you can practice using these signs with. Most sports signs are iconic, meaning the signs look like your acting out the action of that word. If you're trying to sign a sports sign that we didn't cover, start there and act it out. If we missed a sign or you have questions let us know in the comment section. We'd love to help you out.

For two months I have watched your videos everyday. Thank you so much for these!! You're part of my daily routine now 😊
I love all of your Asl classes!! God bless you!!
God bless you in the name of jesus. Best asl teacher.
I just found your channel and I’ve been watching all the videos. This is great!
Awesome! Thank you!
Thank you for these videos. I'm taking ASL at a community college and this helps so much.
This video is criminally under viewed! Thank you. I am a skateboarder myself. Or at least I was.
How can you sign, "When I was younger, I was a skateboarder?"
Your dictionary is in the making, I see. Will you be adding a search window to access all categories at one time? Instead of by category and clicking each word individually...
Love your video tutorials ... profound HL in right ear and severe HL in left ... qualified for two cochlear impants, but COVID had different ideas, so I'm learning ASL from you!🥰
Thanks so much. These videos are really helpful. The one thing I'm confused about is that you bounce/wiggle a lot of the signs. I know some call for this, but it's not always clear if you're demonstrating the full range of movement or just repeating the movement. Perhaps that could be a little more explicit in the future. Or does it not matter?
Thank you for the video, though can I request that instead of doing them in English, if you're teaching ASL, then the videos should be in ASL, and hearing people can use captions if they're still learning?
I'm trying to learn sign language since it is very useful world wide and this is really helpful, thank you so much!
We actually have a video coming out this week about sign language around the world. Hope you enjoy it.
Always great! Love your videos
How can you tell the difference in Track and sports?
boxing
fishing
karate
soft ball
offense
We took care of Dummy how's grandson at the nursing home until his death a couple of months ago. He was such a wonderful person. He would talk about his grandfather so much and how he invented the signs in baseball.
That was GREAT! Loved the fun facts too!!!!
Meredith,
The sign for hockey looks like an x hand hitting an imaginary black thing that is in the game hockey.
Thankyou❤❤sing language❤❤
Thank you
You are welcome!
Great vids. Love the colors. BUT. Why aren't you signing the entire time?? Isn't that the point? Always be signing, always be inclusive?
Thank you Meredith. My suggestion for a video is what ever you want to teach us. Glad that I found this channel!!
LOL thanks.
I am here again,super video

What is the sign for Jiu jitsu or MMA
I would like to learn descriptions for people or Compliments such as pretty, smart, and beautiful.
Great suggestion.
Best ASL videos ever! Thank you!!
Glad you liked it!
what i have see is a lexicallized sign ... have seen golf with the letters it does the movement of a golf game if that makes sense, G is the tee, O is the ball on top of the tee, L is the driver hitting the O, and F is the ball flying after being hit. Ihere is a link to a video : got to 1:18 ua-cam.com/video/w03pJhgUC30/v-deo.html&ab_channel=ClevverTV
That is an ASL joke, not an everyday sign. It's like "past- your-eyes-milk" (pasteurized milk). "Lamp" has a more similar version to that golf sign. There's a lot of nuance to sports signs.
You have several signs being shown incorrectly. Could you please update to the correct signs.
Where are the Deaf people on this project? I mean no disrespect in saying this: teaching signed languages should be left to the Deaf, of whom the language and culture belongs. Presenting ASL or any signed language voice on even with captions is a disservice to the hearing learner and takes away from the Deaf content creators who deserve the right to educate and showcase their language authentically and correctly.
I wish at the very least, she signed throughout the video. I am Late Deaf (loss hearing a an adult) and it's hard to follow the context by the captions alone.
I have moderately less hostility towards CODAs who teach ASL as far as hearing people are concerned. Interpreters are an extremely gray area, I agree.
I understand these videos are very basic for hearing learners, but it would be less controversial if it was accessible to the Deaf. What about Late Deaf trying to learn or Deaf children who don't have language access at home?
These videos serve a very narrow population, and it is frustrating.
You are not Deaf. Your video is not captioned.
eh u sign all words are not asl.. all r very english.. likely S.E.E. OR P.S.E. please let deaf creator do teach instead hearing.. Thanks...
