I was just asking the Father about this very point last night. So even though I wasn’t “feeling it; I stumbled upon this just now. Yeah right 😂that was the Holy Spirit!! So yeah even though you don’t “feel it” ; HE SURE DOES❤❤
Isaiah 50:10 Who among you fears the LORD and obeys the voice of his servant? Let him who walks in darkness and has no light trust in the name of the LORD and rely on his God.
this verse is not to be used as a means to flatter the backslidden saint... and it is sad that it seems to be exalted in this way for this purpose amidst you all
@@hadeswhereisyourvictory What? This verse is saying that for those who fear the Lord and obey his servant (the righteous) , who seem to not feel the presence of God or be surrounded by darkness, they should rely on God. How does this flatter a backslidden saint in any way? Such a person is falling away from God, not relying on him; they wouldn't follow this verse.
"Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God?"..........(Joel 2:17)
I agree with the general message of, essentially, ignore your feelings. They can fluctuate. Just stay faithful in your pursuit of God. However, can someone point me to somewhere in the Word where the idea of "securing the presence of God for the day" exists as it pertains to the context presented here (i.e. Bible reading and prayer)? I'm not trying to be combative or facetious. I simply heard the idea and, honestly, felt some walls come up as I thought "I'm not so sure about that one." haha!
I would say to you that what you are looking for can be found in John 15: 5-8. It is less about making sure that God is beside you throughout the day, because of His nature that is true. It is more about making sure our connection to Him is secure. In these verses it is clear that God is glorified through our commitment to Him, and joy can come from this. Hope this helps. Feel free to ask if there's something that still needs clarifying.
Ephesians 3:16-21 (16) That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; (17) That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, (18) May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; (19) And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. (20) Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, (21) Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen. Ephesians 5:14-20 (14) Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. (15) See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, (16) Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. (17) Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. (18) And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; (19) Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; (20) Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; Colossians 1:9-13 (9) For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; (10) That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; (11) Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; (12) Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: (13) Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: Matthew 5:6 (6) Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Proverbs 19:15 (15) Slothfulness casteth into a deep sleep; and an idle soul shall suffer hunger. Proverbs 13:14-15 (14) The law of the wise is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death. (15) Good understanding giveth favour: but the way of transgressors is hard. James 1:21-25 (21) Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls. (22) But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. (23) For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: (24) For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. (25) But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. James 4:5-7 (5) Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy? (6) But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. (7) Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Psalms 13:1-6 (1) To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. How long wilt thou forget me, O LORD? for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me? (2) How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall mine enemy be exalted over me? (3) Consider and hear me, O LORD my God: lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death; (4) Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him; and those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved. (5) But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation. (6) I will sing unto the LORD, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.
Good morning Praise the Lord 👍 Remembering the Lord's Prayer, let's be a day when the children of God preach the gospel without forgetting that the world where God reigns will come. I give thanks to God the Father, Creator of heaven and earth, who is the true life. Thank you for opening today and letting us live and breathe. The hope of physical Israel was to enter the land of Canaan, Egypt. The hope of spiritual Israel is to leave the kingdom of the world and enter the kingdom of heaven. This is God's promise. There are two heavens, one is the heaven of the spirit world. And it is heaven in the physical world. According to Revelation 19, when Jesus and Heaven come to the physical world and become one, it is spiritual and physical marriage. Previously, it was a world where demons lived together with people. The world of the devil is judged and ends in Revelation 18. In Revelation 19, it is said that there will be a spiritual and physical marriage in which believers in the Lord and the spirits of heaven become one, and the world will be ruled by the Creator. This is God's victory. God, who left because of Adam's sin, made known this fact to people through the 66 books of the Bible. In the Lord's Prayer in Matthew 6, there will be a work to be done on earth just as it was done in heaven. May all of you earnestly pray for the Lord's Prayer to be fulfilled today, I pray in the name of Jesus Hallelujah Amen 🙏🙏🙏
When one does not know how to discern if he is, or is not, grieving the Spirit of God thus being hardened by the deceitfulness of sin,,,, that spiritual condition is none other than sinful degrees of spiritual blindness &/or spiritual drunkenness...such a sad heart condition should never be exalted as the norm by anyone... let alone a teacher...it should be called out for what it is...and the need for repentance sought after and had...that the waters that are blocked up by those stones... that such a hardness of heart may melt away in laying hold of the free grace of God... so that sound and sensitive reality with God may be by Gods grace once again freely experienced..... the sad reality is, some men have resisted the call unto repentance for so long, that the hardness of hear becomes the norm, and thus behold...dead religion proceeds all the more, and is taught all the more, and is accepted as the norm all the more.. O God bring a revival, and let it begin in me
This video is literally for me find my mind wanders sometimes praying or reading scripture but I will persevere onwards

Great conversation on this topic. I always need this reminder. Our God is always there and His Word is true despite our feelings👏🙏
Such a crucial message! Grateful for this word. happen.
