Not good advice, I don't have friends and family, and no one is seeking my business out. I also made an awesome designed shirt, and no one bought any. Then I went to the flea market and tried to sell them for $10 and no one bought any.

The key here is to get your shirts into peoples hands. You'll be hard pressed to convince people to buy right off the bat when you're just getting started. The content in this video is actually really great advice and has worked many, many times. If you truly don't have any family or friends at all, then we just need to think a little differently for your specific situation. If you truly don't have anyone close to you that you can give (for free) your shirts to, then I would encourage you to look for events or gatherings in your town or something like that. Or join the local chamber of commerce and give your shirts away to the members at a meeting. Anything you can do to find people that are willing to take a free shirt, that's how you will get your name out there. When you're just getting started, no one even knows your business exists so they certainly won't be seeking you out. You have to go to them. Maybe even find a few local businesses that you'd like to print for and go give them a few free shirts and let them know you're available. Or if you're wanting to sell your own apparel rather than print for others, then perhaps approach a retail location that you think would sell your apparel and offer them a pack of 10-20 shirts to sell. Don't charge them for the shirts that way there's no risk on their part. Either let them only pay for what sells or just give you a small percentage of each sell.
