In all the chaos and confusion with the Owen incident, one thing truly gets lost. It has to be scary as hell for Owen on the way down. Imagine being however high he was, accidentally tripping a release, and then seeing the ring rush up at you at fast speeds. It had to be pure horror knowing that you are speeding towards your own death and you can’t do anything about it. Owen still was worried about Jimmy and hollered for him to move out of the way. When Jimmy mentioned Owen's potential in the business because of his personality and character he was spot on. The story of him turning heel on Bret leading to Mania X was great because of him and his character work. He was great in the ring too. It's so sad to think of what could have been.
I still cry to this day thinking of this. I remember this live when it happened. The camera cut..... Jim Ross said it was not part of the show..... Owen Hart has died....😢😢😢 R.I.P. I hope to meet you on the other side.
The Camara didn't cut, it never showed any part of Owens fall or in the ring, they only showed JR AND King who were only describing the event. I know this because I watched it live.
Owen definitely had more personality than Bret and would've been bigger especially since the industry was starting to favor the bigger personality characters like The Rock, Stone Cold, Chris Jericho etc. I feel like Chris Jericho is what Owen would've been but bigger.
I remember all of that night! So tragic! Owen was a great person and a wonderful wrestler! He’s been greatly missed by all the fans .Another life taken too soon!
You watched it live? Vince McMahon should be killed or some horrible shit should happen to him. Was a huge slap In the face for Owen harts family having his body broomed to the side so another match could happen. Absolutely disgraceful and don’t understand how’s he isn’t embarrassed about that.
@@1ZosoLZ 😟 Did he hit that vertical corner metal ring post or the padded turnbuckle? I've heard he was trying to lift himself up a little bit after he fell.
When a employee or in this case a independent contractor dies trying to feed his family and make Vince money is beyond sad. Why Vince didn't stop the show and that's all it is a show is sickening. Vince did not want to stop the show and have to give the money back. A man died but that wasn't a good enough excuse for Vince to stop the show. Karma has caught up with Vince thanks to Janel Grant. Now this greedy son of a bitch will pay the piper. It's been a long time coming and I hope Owen is looking down and smiling from ear to ear.
Vince even tried to get out of paying Owen's widow, Vickie Guerrero or Chris Benoit's kids the remainder of the contract. Martha only got it via the lawsuit. Vickie was an on air performer in WWE, to "earn" the money Eddie still had on his contract. Vince denied Benoit's remain children Chris's money owing by saying it was "proceeds of crime".

After everything had calmed down all of the other wrestlers would come out from the back and the first thing they did was looked up just to see how far he had fallen........ sad moment
Neither did the crowd. Nobody cared. Just wanted him hauled off as they got tired of chanting nugget “ out him in a baody bag” and ran out of garbage to throw ona him.

That’s really sick and disgusting for you have thought like that it says alot about you as a person just sickening.
@Fr0zen23 they knew the pigs wanted more slop
My wife and I will never forget this day. We were preparing for our wedding on June 12 when this happened. Owen also died six days before my birthday
Someone really did go over the edge 😢

Go watch watch
You should interview Paul London, ICP, Monty brown, just a few ideas.
I’m still trying to figure out why wasn’t it immediately evacuated because it was indeed a crime scene.
you clearly don't know the difference between a crime and an accident
There's a reason why it was called over the edge
Tacky, just tacky...
After everything that’s going on with Vince McMahon with the shit he did to that girl it wouldn’t surprise me none that Vince did this shit on purpose
Wait what did he do to the girl
Own Hart was kind hearted!!
I always thought Owen was better than Bret. R.I.P Owen.
Best sharpshooter by far
Vince McMahon shame on you you should have stopped that show
You noticed the NFL did!
@@NOV123 YUP
@@NOV123 nfl did what? Research only time guy died on nfl field, game kept going
McMahon is responsible for Owens demise
Come on guys, I completely understand respecting the dead but Owen wasn’t going to be no top guy. He kept going down the card since him and Bret feuded and stayed a low mid carder till the blue blazer gimmick which would been low card.
Plus he wanted to retire within a couple years anyways cause his family meant more then the business. I did like the heel Owen. He wasn’t good on the mic, was better as a heel like Bret was better as a heel.
I just watched it you can’t even tell anything happened but if you look in the ring it still blood on the mat
That was not Owen's blood
I like to think Owen was hiding around a corner while watching him at the front desk.
Idk why I watch this stuff about the blue blazer 2x slammy winner "NUGGET!!!!" AKA Owen 😢😢😢 I get upset/emotional (I know most ppl would will and do think it's dumb) I instantly flash back to the moment it happened luckily the cameras pand out before...I instantly knee something was wrong by the look of terror I'm JRs eyes then King took off then 20 to 30 mins of the cameras just showing the crowed then back to the announcer table Kings eyes swollen and red from crying then JR was all chocked up as he was forced to inform the world then later on him crying as he tells the world that he had pass at the hospital...I mean I remember exactly where I was at doing and siting like it just happened regardless RIP NUGGET RIP
He was trying to leave wrestling and be with his family I guess that wasn’t in his contract. He was set up by Vince
Wild
D Lo Brown told a rib story about Owen D Lo was new and nervous wrestling in front such large crowd Owen told D Lo look at the refs shoes Owen told D Lo he untied them they locked up again Owen told D Lo to look down Owen had in tied D Lo's boots Owen made D Lo laugh Owen asked him are you nervous now he said no not anymore and they put on a great match with Owen calling all the spots.
Damar Hamlin brought me here 😢
Vince is a Crazy man to keep the ppv going
After that Event that transpired
Dude it was hilarious when he fell. We laughed so hard. I’m honestly sad the footage is lost. It’s so funny
@@GamingniqqaWTF 😳 dude you’re cold
Would be cool to see him do one last match in aew
I was a huge owen hart fan. Tbh i called a friend when this happened and didn't watch the rest of the ppv. Never watched it since wwe should have refunded people in the audience and on ppv and especially cancel the damn thing if this was shane i can bet he would have taken a leave of absence for months and would have pulled the plug
They killed Owen. Austin shot call
If this happened now everyone would have their cellphone out recording it
Sent to the hospital to get his story str8
Did anybody find the little kid who he landed in front of? I bet that must have been traumatic
That was Blue Blazer, as Owen he Hit the Scaffold. So it you was on that Scaffold. Sad they Still Lying about it
