Why endanger the public or your officers when you've got less risky alternatives? If they increase the pressure then he's liable to do something stupid that might get people hurt or killed. Don't underestimate the damage that a truck can do both on accident or on purpose once the driver decides to really get it moving at speed.

Two hours watching a guy drive really slow around the town in a construction truck driving better than a lot of construction trucks I’ve seen…. They should offer him a job 😂 the cops did more damage to the truck than the suspect? And there is no ending footage….some say he’s still driving to this day 🤷🏻♂️

First, I feel so safe knowing that the LAPD can't stop this guy. Second, the LAPD have awful tactical skills.
In my opinion I think they did a good job you don’t know the back story…. First the trailer is worth 100k and they can’t pit it bc it’s a trailer and it’s worth 100k. Second they can’t box him in, it’s to risky, the truck is powerful and will easily move the police out of the way just like the way they did to the blue car. All they could do is spike strip and that’s what they did, they also couldn’t just chase him bc they don’t want him going fast and crashing, killing people and making the owner lose a lot of money. So what do you prefer them to do?

I just noticed the hardest vehicle to throw a spike strip in front of, is one going 10 mph. Boy you just miss every time.

lame (or low skill) law enforcement...the dude stopped multiple times and was moving slowly...the commentator said that when he loses the tire and only on the rim that he would not be able to move...not true, he kept going...then stream was lost....this guy should NOT be allowed to drag this out so long

@@sebay1798 that vehicle came to a complete stop MANY times...they should be able to shoot (or use some type of penetrating projectile) the tires out ...they were so close to the stopped vehicles so many times...how about blockcade him in when he frequently stopped...why do they let this go on for so long... to be clear i am not in law enforcement but if i was i think there should be training done to limit these seemingly endless pursuits, sometimes they do injure and damage way too much property and lives

@sebay1798 A proper block in and even that truck was going nowhere. LAPD heirachy are responsible for the length of time it takes to bring these incidents to a halt. Some long chases involve further endangerment to the LA public. These are a clear indication the LAPD heirachy are more concerned for their officers welfare than that of the law abiding public.

Interesting! Seeing how agitated he was, he probably was on some sort of stimulant. Although I'm in medicine, I don't know all drugs out there. However, most of the time stimulants will make the brain bypass its inhibition center, turning the person into a boosted ADHD state (to simplify it). As you might expect, leaving your inhibition on the side of the road would make it pretty hard to drive responsibly, but this guy managed it. Either he is very used to it or he didn't take much, but he is quite impressive either way

Arizona PD and HP are awesome ! Their use of undercover vehicles of all sorts is extremely effective. Other departments should correlate with them.

I just watched a ton of video of the Arkansa state troopers dashcams...i tell you all : when they light you up?, just stop.....they will chase you no matter what speeds, roads, upcoming trafic or within trafic. 2 lanes, 4 lanes, interstate , towns...rain, snow....they will PIT you at full speeds....the fastest speed was 115...yes, 115.....and also do not back down on full speed pursuits in towns....almost all pursuits ending in a high speed PIT sending cars flying everywhere.....so, just stop 🙂
