00:46 monday : the grass is always greener type thinking. Lean into having fun, it doesn't always have to be so serious. Enjoy the process and the journey of getting to where you want to go. Instead of worrying about things that could go wrong, think about what could go right.
04:14 tuesday : if you can't see the wood for the trees, concentrate on encompassing the feeling and the emotion of what it feels like to achieve the things you want. You don't know what you don't know so don't stress about that, just do the work.
11:26 wednesday : you're on your own manufacturing conveyor belt, you have the plan, you're sticking to the plan and your executing the plan. It's a ton of work but you are making steady progress.

Me too, growing up thrift stores. mom would fix clothes to fit. I never remember getting anything new. I was embarrassed at school, all the other kids had new clothes. Later it was super cool to thrift store shop. Now it's cheaper to buy new than buy thrift stores.
I was the 300th to like this. This week longtime friend and associate relaunches the prepared food section of our local food cooperative. I am there beside her, cooking away with decades of kitchen experience, struggling to connect with a dozen "young people" who have worked there longer than I have (I am one month into training, one to go) and seem to delight in telling an old woman what to do. I WILL NOT overcook the sausage and bacon nor scorch the soup just because that is how we do it.

I loved what you said about the mind follows the body. As a crisis counselor, I'm always encouraging my clientele to do something they enjoy. People become paralyzed by depression but I've overcome it myself and the way to do that is to stay productive, exercise, and not consuming shit - whether it be junk food or the news. You become what you put into yourself!

You know this emotional wall, I kinda hit that over last few weeks. (I didn’t realise it’s this until I heard you), and then I had a dream that I have a lion as pet & I’ve lost my pet, my lion! Can you believe, how fascinating that is?! I couldn’t figure out what the dream meant, and then it struck me it could only mean me hitting that spiritual wall, losing that inner zest, fun… and honestly I won’t be surprised if that happens again, as I feel I’m struggling to keep that up.
