- These mountain bikers were enjoying a ride out on the Scottish Highlands when they bumped into King Charles!
The group suspected there might be ‘minor royals’ out and about on the Balmoral estate after a fleet of black Land Rovers passed by. But none of them were expecting to meet the King out on a walk!
The group’s only regret: not asking the King to come and share a ‘dram’ of whisky with them that evening!

What an encounter of a lifetime! King Charles was so friendly and relaxed and the bikers were polite and relaxed.
Same thing happened to me !
I ran out of loo paper and Charles showed up
They were very polite. He really has such a nice and down to earth personality. 👑💖

Amazing. People line up for hours to meet the King and these fellows met him in the middle of the Scottish Highlands!
I think a chance meeting is weighing a lot more on the scales of Fortuna than any and all planned
No wonder the Royal family loves going up there, it is beautiful. So nice it is open to anyone and the Royal family maintains it to keep it that way.
there are 140.000 miles of public footpaths, 20.000 miles of bridleways and 16.000 miles of national cycle network all over Britain
Windsor Castle and the Palaces don't and Government land doesn't
but private estates do, but the public have to stay on those paths
Going for a walk can clear the head and give you some fresh thoughts. Especially when you are a thinker like our King. God bless this humble man.
Yes...God bless all he does. He is so kind to everyone. He has been going through a lot he is very humble. I pray everything works out for him and his boys, That's a hard thing to go through when you're children are at a difficult time. I love that these men were just chatting about normal things, Because I know there are some people who would be very rude and want to talk about his family problems. They were wonderful and warm to him.😊❣

The biker at the end summed it up so well ‘He is such a nice man’. The man sounded pleasantly surprised, as if all previous misconceptions were swept away. He saw the real King Charles, simply enjoying a walk in the open countryside far away from palaces and royal protocol. Obviously security would have been close by, but the King was enjoying normality and solitude the best he could.

@@tobehonest7541 You say it as if families that are not royal do not have that kind of problems, the iconic problem son like Harry and the other calm, infidelity at least he remained faithful to a woman with how many Diana was with although it hurts me to accept it, Diana was not The only thing a saint had that impressed many was her beauty and her nature with human beings, something that taught her children the reality outside the palace and that only one heard while the youngest Harry listened to everything his mother said. I taught him and he said that he was ignorant of the prejudices of the planet. Please don't make me laugh. All families have problems. That doesn't take away from the fact that at least I try to be different from his father with his children

Similar thing happened with the late queen and American tourists, but they didn't know they were talking to the queen and her bodyguard.
Many years ago the AA published a magazine for its members and one issue included an article about famous people and their cars. It began with the author describing seeing a middle-aged woman wearing a headscarf driving a Rover P5 in central London. It turned out to be the Queen.
I saw this original clip. It took a channel that normally had about 6k views, to having a clip with over 1 million in just a few days. Interesting as well, they mentioned that they were not monarchists, but came away from the chance meeting with a new appreciation for the King. It was an uplifting experience all round.
l saw it too, they thought he was cool lol and he is, our press have made him look bad since the seventies
I hope all this traffic can get them more subscribers because they have interesting videos.

I follow the channel and if that is a unique experience, meeting them and seeing that they are totally different from what one thinks of a man of a certain age walking and enjoying the weather and the landscape, I would like to enjoy that field even though my husband is older. from the city I am more from the countryside

It's amazing to me, an American, that King Charles was walking on his own, without security officers. Of course, the UK is a safer country than ours and it's wonderful that he can do that.

They were just themselves. Nice to see that the king is staying healthy taking walks and nice enough to talk to people and not a snob.👑👍❣

I'm not a monarchist by any means but Charles would be a very interesting person to talk to. The gossip about the royal family doesn't interest me.
Even as one who is from the States, I would be humbled by an encounter like that with King Charles. And what a lovely man to take time and chat with these guys. It has given me a new perspective on the King..
Right from their schooldays royal children are taught that they have great privilege allowed by the people and in return they should not be arrogant .
That`s what really stood out as Meghan started to find her feet , humility is something alien to her.
Ergo, she is not `royal`, as the British public expect it

That's one to tell the grandkids! Reminds me of the tourists who met HM Queen Elizabeth II on the Balmoral Estate and not realising who she was asked if she knew The Queen and had she ever met her. HM didn't bother to pyt them right, just said yes, she knew her quite well!

He's the King of the UK, and of his other realms and territories, head of the Commonwealth and monarch in a few member states of the Commonwealth which regard him as head of state.

Please correct if I am wrong, but didn't Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II also enjoy solo walks around the Balmoral Estate? As Balmoral is a private estate of the family, I would imagine encounters such as this would be common, when the family is up there.
Yes the Queen and other family members have more freedom at Balmoral but I wouldn’t say it was common it’s a remote area . Most people just don’t film it and put it on the internet and sell it to tv .
The family all pop to the shops in the local village and the village people don`t go out of their way to spread the fact.
I hope the King is OK and in good spirits.

The king's bodyguard was so discreet he couldn't be seen.
He seems a very genuine person, with a wide range of interests from architecture to agriculture. Not the buffoon he has been portrayed as in the past (not saying he didn't have his moments). As he has aged he seemed to very much come into himself as a person. I think I like this King.
