Simple IVF Baby Gender Reveal!💖💙

So in case anyone is confused about embryos and knowing the gender and everything.❤️I know not everyone watching is in this world of infertility but is sooo supportive of us and others going through it. So let me share some details! So we didn’t do IVF with the hopes of certain genders for kids. We were hoping for any healthy embryo, boy or girl. Especially after our IVF cycle failed in NY and we had zero embryos. So...with this IVF cycle we did genetic testing on our embryos. So basically from egg retrieval to day 5-6 comes a blastocyst and each one has their individual genetic makeup already. So cool! And...not all of our fertilized eggs became blastocysts. We were fortunate enough to get 4 blastocysts and we sent them to get genetic testing and 3 came back healthy. So by day 5-6 each one is already determine girl DNA or boy DNA. How cool is that! We didn’t care what we got! We just wanted one healthy embryo. We were able to choose the gender to we wanted to transfer first because we had 3 embryos to choose from that already had their individual gender. It was also our best embryo so it was meant to be.🤍🥰

We feel the same! Just grateful that we are even given the opportunity now. When we were waiting to find out the gender of our embryos Brian kept saying he didn’t care what we had. He just wants a baby.😭😭😭So sweet. Fortunately we have two more to try with after this.❤️❤️

Man, that video gave me all the feels. My ivf baby is 10 months old. It took us 8 years to get her, 3 years of ivf, 4 egg retrievals, 6 cancelled fet cycles, 3 mock cycles for era and other crap, 6 transfers, 9 embryos. You forget the pain a bit after it's all done. Raury is so funny! He will not go near fridges, dishwashers, or stoves for the life of him.🤣He is a good boy. I loved when he tried to take a bite on the counter. Hahahaha he NEVER does that. We try to see if he will take our food but he never does. He just maybe licks it and stares.

I'm so excited! I've been watching you for years. I came across one of your youtube videos at a very low point in my life. My husband and I tried for 11 years to have a baby. I suffered 5 losses until we were finally blessed with our rainbow baby February 2020. We also went to see a fertility specialist. I remember I thought of you when I was pregnant because I watched you pour your heart out and speak for all the women including myself what it was like dealing with infertility and loss. Congrats on your Rainbow baby boy. Our daughter is on your same path. She has previously had 7 miscarriages and 2 stillborn little girls. She is expecting her rainbow baby on September 11, 2021. She is 13 weeks tomorrow. Her new doctors feel like they have figured out why she has had so many losses. She goes to the doctor every 2 weeks and has an ultrasound every visit. At the 1st sign that her cervix is shortening they will put in a cerclage. She is just a few weeks behind. Their names are Emma and Justin. Please add them to your prayer list if you can. Hopefully 2021 brings lots of healthy rainbow babies.
Our daughter is now 16 weeks along and we have found out that she is having a boy too. They also did genetic testing due to her large number of losses and she found out this week that she has a perfectly healthy baby boy. We are hopeful that we finally get a baby to hold this time around. She did IUI so she did her genetic testing at about 14 weeks along.

I just randomly came across this video... never have I seen any of their videos but this made me bawl! I’ve never been through anything like this but I do have 3 kids and I couldn’t imagine going through that type of a rollercoaster of emotions. It’s wonderful this story has a happy ending and this little boy is so very lucky to have parents who have desperately wanted him. My first was a boy who actually is turning 12 today, I was 18 when he was born and he changed my whole life completely, for the better. when his twin sisters were born he was 8 and has been the biggest helper. I love all my babies more than life itself but boys are just so very special and a complete blessing from God. Hi Carissa and Brian! I watched your video when you did your first egg retrieval a day before I had mine. I'm currently undergoing fertility treatment and my first cycle of IVF was unsuccessful. I felt your pain. IVF was one of the hardest things I went through in my life. The dreaded call when my embryologist told me that the fertilized egg did not grow was just heartbreaking.
