Chris and Gabby, when I brought the cockatiels and parakeets up recently, I was in awe of just how much the two of you do. It’s absolutely amazing that your sanctuary is run smoothly as it is. Kudos to you both.
Good evening chris and gabby poppy and his cuddle paralysis is too cute. The grass inside of the gator enclosures looks absolutely amazing. I hope yall have an amazing rest of the night
5.05 Just when we all three Emu's were so cute chomping one piece of kale together out of Chris's hand. this happens just after Chris "says oh well there goes that one", Pebbles the emu flings yet another piece of kale away. I bust up laughing. I seriously want 10 acres so I can have my own emus to laugh at too. Blessings to all the residents of Bellowing Acres Sanctuary and thank you Chris and Gabby!
Catching up on all my favorite residents of Bellowing Acres! Had spinal surgery 2 weeks ago and am now in rehab. PT(physical therapy), OT(occupational therapy) and BAT (Bellowing Acres therapy) to strengthen my back and heart muscles ❤ I think all Rehab Hospitals should mandate a minimum of of 20 minutes a day of watching Cuddle Take Downs 😂😂😂!
The sod looks great! - it looks really natural. I still remember Gabby's distraught cries when the grass was ruined several months ago! That looks like a massive job laying it all down - I'm not surprised your back is on fire.
Greetings from Northern Cape South Africa. Oh my goodness not only grass sid delivery for the crocodilian enclosures, but also its a playground and jungle gym for Clover. A lot of work but its already looking great. The wonderful thing about grass is that if its happy, it's going to send runner's above and under the soil absolutely everywhere. So it will cover things faster the bare soil than anticipated. Place is looking good as are the animals. Congratulations on all the accomplished winter preparations. The animals, birds and reptiles are so lucky to be a part of your well cared for menagerie at Bellowing Acre's
Chris, I dont see how you get any work done. I would be playing with the animals all day and loose track of time. The fact that someone surrendered Osami because she was too "vicious" is laughable to me. That chunk skunk is the most loving playful thing. Between her and Poppy, it's a tough choice on who is more lovable and cute. So funny watching Bella just chill and look at you guys putting sod down. Just another day at Bellowing Acres! I also wanted to say thank you for the nice card I recieved for making a donation. It was very kind of you guys but it wasnt signed by you or Gabby? I would suggest signing those if its not too much trouble.
Poppy does some pretty fabulous poses. He and the other animals would make great subjects in a calendar. Plus, Chris, you take great photos. It's interesting that crocs do a pseudo-hybernation when it gets cold, in that their digestive tract slows down to the point where they can't digest. Thanks for info and the vlog.
Love the sod. Just keep it watered. Ocala is looking fantastic. I’m so happy that you found him. I don’t think the poor baby would’ve lasted much longer if you hadn’t picked him up. Poppy is so adorable and funny. Do you guys have plans for a Bellowing Acres Thanksgiving? Hugs from Tennessee. 💕
Gator Chris has tiny scratch marks from Poppy and friends on his boots!!☺️🐾☺️ The grass will grow well around Bella and Big Mac's pond since Clovee 🐶🐕🐶had a chance to climb and pee on it!!!😉 This past weekend I found "Gator Boys" on t.v. and I saw a very young blonde Gator Chris working!!! Of course Gator Chris has changed.☺️
You have to water the crap out of grass seed to get it to take. Best if you can keep straw on top of it to help keep it wet. I've never done sod, but I'm guessing you need to keep it watered pretty well too.
Gosh Chris you’re really a one man band. I was thinking to myself that must be so difficult laying all that sod by yourself. And then when you mentioned your back you confirmed it 😓 Please get some rest.
Are the Patagonia Mara and the prairie dogs spayed or neutered? I think both are adorable! Especially Poppy! Great job getting Ocala’s weight up! He looks amazing!
Thanks for the vlog always enjoy them and seeing the animals Sod looks great I'm sure your back is screaming after laying all the sod hope ya feel better after a good nights sleep wanted to ask Does Calosa only eat mice do you give her any other whole prey items? Thanks again guys good night
Ooops, I called Jellybean "peanut" on another video I commented on. I try to remember most names as I truly appreciate each & every animal you care for ❤
@@Debra.Justiceyes. Poppy will just roll over and cuddle, always has clean fur. Cheeky is constantly digging, she avoids all contact and is covered in sand. Harvie has a big ol booty, and is next most affectionate. Cocoa is cocoa.
They don’t shoot their quills. They back into a person or animal and the quills get lodged in the body. Chris said the African porcupines can kill lions with the quills.

Importance with Sod is lots and lots of water….
Where did you get Poppy? Has Poppy always been cuddly?
Always,,,,, he just melts when Chris pets him….
I really thought Clover was going to pee on the sod 😂

My orange cat play bites too, 🖤🤍
Wasn't there 5 or 6 little pigs to start with , poppy such a cutie with being pet all the time
They're keeping the baby pigs for "eastern snouts" I believe one got bought.
I think one was adopted out.

Do you not hand train the fur farm foxes anymore?
Ocala looks great ❤
We’ve been taking a break to see how they do now
Little Dude is so cute! He looks big and his eyes small. Such a cool animal. How much does he weigh?
Hi Chris.. seen the photo of the male Nile crock.. how much bigger Akila is?..
Where do y’all get the rope perches for the birds ? What rope is safe to use ?
Sorry Gabby, I think it looked better the way it was without the sod...
How old is Sierra?
would y’all take in any exotic hoof stock?
It’s something we’ve discussed
hi
I was saying no Chris don't trust Jellybean

can you really tell the ground hogs apart
The prairie dogs? Yes, after you’ve watched for a while you learn who is who.
