For Nana, I completely agree with Emily! I watched it when I was young as well and I couldn’t get behind the story because of how adult it was as well. To me, it was bad because “MC didn’t get with the dream guy.” I couldn’t understand the complexity of the story which is one of it’s best qualities because I was so young and had limited ideas of what romance is, what is a healthy relationship, how life is. I was still attending elementary school (11-12) and I still taught Charlotte’s Web was the best romance ever. I have different opinions now as I’ve gained more knowledge of life and love
Out of all the romance anime, they showed Fruits Basket was the only one I've watched and know more about. And I love it.
