As someone who has worked with VAs as a handler...there is sooooo many issues that can come up. I won't go into too much details but yeah the parasocial relationships can lead to some bad BAD stuff. I can only think of ONE relationship that has worked out. And it was only because the woman's BF was the fan (of a show) and NOT her. So when she did get into a relationship with the VA, she legit had no idea who the fuck he was or who he voiced.

I wanted to let you know that I do know what the title and thumbnail are implying as well as the context.
I wrote this because I’m pretty sure most people, like me, don’t actually think it’s Rainhoe and that the clip was a funny coincidence considering the recent Rainhoe subathon stuff. In general any assumptions about anything beyond what explicitly said is not something I think is reasonable to subscribe to (and even then it’s suspect at best).

Sounds like a good chance it's a parasocial relationship, likely one way on the mod's part. People fall in love with streamers and celebrities in general all the time and the chances of them actually returning those feelings is extremely small. It's even worse in this scenario since it's like an employer situation which just creates a weird power dynamic and makes it really awkward.
