If u see the process that gives the depth to the caracters and surroundings , its not 10s of thousands of lines. Its a just few but incredible precise lines. Also this blurring at some points creating Detail where he did not even draw Detail is amazing

I can follow decently until 0:58, after which magic happens. How do you switch between various grays and it makes sense?? by 2:22 the painting is effectively finished concept-wise, it's just all detail work to the end. Really incredible eye for proportions and color, really well done.
Maybe it's the brush settings? Or transparency on the layer/brush turned down, then picks up the darker gray in the background and apply it using different translucent brushes, when needing brighter value, perhaps set the brush on color dodge mode.

I casually began drawing 1 month ago (I drew my youtube profile digitally though I traced the outline first on the original). Now considering to learn a bit more about digital drawing, I literally had no drawing experience until 1 month ago. I know WLOP has tutorial for his/her patreon donors. However, I don't own photoshop. I am using Sketchbook for free right now, I only know how to use a few brushes. In this case, can I learn from his/her materials?

Beautiful artwork as always, such an inspiration. A minor critique? Or more of.. an observation. The hilt of the blade does not match the tilt on the blade itself. Judging by the look of the handle, it's a rapier, yet it's blade is not straight. Is the sword curved in such a way? Or was it overlooked?
I just Realized wlop's Pressure beside Opacity is off, So does that means that all his brush presets controls his opacity or he doesn't uses pressure at all? kindda explained why the gray scale at the beginning was all flat lol im so dumb trying to look for da wae in the past few weeks
Why de fook u need opacity when you can control your pressure.... Of course the grayscale at the beginning is all flat because is for the base color.... then he turned into shading stuff...

What size canvas do you use? There's a lot of awesome detail in your paintings.
love your works! do you draw based on some color harmonies? like monochromatic, triadic, ect. or you just draw according to your mood?
