Haha, I'm back at this video a few months after I watched it for the first time 'cause my wife folded the laundry the last couple weeks. When I tried to fold them this afternoon I drew a complete blank and all my attempts failed.
I don't feel so bad.... I watched this SO many times!!!! She goes so fast for this senior citizen!!! Most of it is super simple but there's one part near the Middle where it's really tricky right after the part where she says find the collar line
The reason people fold shirts wrong has more to do with the comfort of folding clothes standing upright vs the stress that’s put on the lower back over and over again by folding something not height level. If you’re going to fold like this or work in an environment that requires you to fold like this, be sure to have a high raised table in front of you to reduce the bend muscle stress or you will develop serious back problems later in life.
I’ve folded t shirts like this for at least 25 years. It’s a real space saver. My method is to do it while sitting down and sort of launch the shirt a tiny bit and catching it on the fold line. It’s easy once you’ve done it a few times.
I've been folding my shits wrong too. Glad I came across this video. Technique is fast and simple. Now I can crease and fold my shits without struggling! 😂
I laughed at this comment at first, but then i scrolled to the next video and it showed me how to fold in 2 seconds Next thing I knew I unfolded my 2 kids' and my husbands entire wardrobe just to fold them again!
Folding shirts like that is ok when you're packing for the trip but I prefer not to fold so many times when the t-shirt is going to stay on my closet for a week or two just because there are visible folding lines, many more folding lines than necessary.
I always hung mine up. My T shirts were more nice outer shirts rather than the underwear that graduated to outwear. Now that I have a dresser I might start folding mine. Gives me more space in my tiny wardrobe! Thank you!
HOLY FUCK THIS HELPED. I dont have a closet anymore and just use little shelves that are under my desk to keep my clothes and I needed an easy way to nicely fold my clothes and this was the method I was able to remember, thank you!
@@Smarties_DumDumwait, so if you fold them warm, the folds you do don't create creases? It seems like once they cool down (after being folded) that it would make the creases even more prominent.
And especially one big crease across the middle of the shirt that's guaranteed by all the other folding done after it. -- Seems very pretentious to say one way is right and the other ways are wrong.
Great concept, but after ironing my shirts, I will not be doing origami, not to mention with different size shirts your parcels will be different sizes 😉
Weird, it's the only way I've ever folded my shirts. I can't imagine doing it any other way. It's so easy, I do it right out of the dryer while standing. 👍🏻😁
That's crazy, I didn't know so many people didn't know this technique. I've been folding like this for 20 years. Anyone I've ever lived with learned it from me and liked it, so they stayed folding things way.
I used to own a t-shirt shop and we'd fold and clip hang them so you can see the design. I fold my shirts for the drawer like that still. It's super quick and just habbit, but I'd be curious to see how this would change how much i can fit in a drawer comparatively.
I watch these videos, think how easy it looks and then immediately forget how they did it for the next time I'm folding shirts. 🤷♂️

The struggle is real brother! 💪@@brettfraser8050
I allwas remember
Maybe you could save it to ‘watch later’
Haha, I have not one but two techniques saved to 'watch later'. I think I'm just incompetent. @@MuhammadAdnan-m8t
Instructions unclear I dislocated both of my elbows
Did you unfold the shirt *before* putting it on?
i spent more time trying to read the shirt than folding mine 😂
😂😂 .
It says: It’s a bit nipply out. I mean nippy out. Did I say nipple? There’s a nip in the air.
"It's a bit nipply out.
I mean nippy out.
Did I say nipple?
There's a nip in the air."

😂
Nailed it!! Took like ten tries and watched the video like 20 times but nailed it! Thank you!

Mind. Blown.
You’ve inspired me to create a new UA-cam Playlist purely about proper folding techniques!
Thanks, lovey 🫶
FINALLY a T-shirt folding video thats quick & easy to replicate no matter what sleeve length! Thank you!
Awesome, with this method I have so much more space in my wardrobe, thanks so much 😁

I've been folding my shits wrong too. Glad I came across this video. Technique is fast and simple. Now I can crease and fold my shits without struggling! 😂
IM CRYING THE TYPO 😂😂😂
I prefer my shits triple coiled buy I’m inspired to try folding them now.
I have been and still folding my shirts in the old classic way and I do not think I am doing it wrong. Do it right and that is still the best.
I just took all the T-shirts out of my drawers and refolded them. They look so neat, and I was able to fit more in the drawer.

this folding technique had been told during military time to me. I still fold them like that, and taught it other people in my life.
Hands down this is the best way I have ever tried!! Marvelous! So easy! So small!! Yay!!
Awesome folding technique. One exception would be the creases. Multiple and on the sleeves. But, I will be using this!
Tyyy it helped I’m subscribing

This was a great tutorial. I just watched it over and over for the last 20 minutes, but I got all my shirts nice and neat. Thank you!

"FOLDING"?... Who does this after they invented hangers?
Yeah it's excellent for space but when you unravel it it has all those creases.
Im not sure if you do this but it helps to unwrinkle and fold clothes while their warm so when you infold it its as near as when you fold it
This was my exact thinking. I like the aesthetic look of the original (bigger) fold, plus fewer lines / creases.
