T6A5 are connected by semi-automatic couplers (these are Sécheron couplers with a mechanical part +GF+) with the appropriate power connection, then it is possible to run only on one pantograph. The original Prague type coupling is the most common type of mechanical coupling previously fitted to tram vehicles of all types. The coupling rod is fixed or foldable. It was developed in the Central Workshops of the Prague Transport Company at the turn of the 19th and 20th century. Hello from Prague, I hope that the machines will serve well
@@eifel810 these machines are all breaking down recently... Anyway yeah, they serve well, but I don't like them much as line 20 used to be only for T6B5s and line 22 only for T6A5s, but more and more I see T6A5s on line 20... They are kind of an invasive species and I really like my T6B5s.
@@WhyWouldMichalSupportPutler I still don't know. I'm trying to figure it out, but I still can't. What I'm able to gather is that the magnet brake turned on and depleted the batteries, and the pantograph wasn't working somehow

Get yourselves bidirectional trams and build crossovers so that you can reverse sets stuck behind an incident with ease.
@@szabados1980 doesn't happen that often, so it isn't necessary. Also our bidirectional trams are over 65 years old and are still very good
