Have you seen the thumbnails for demons in geometry dash
I thought the quirk of the tpot thumbnails would be that gradient in the background like in one tpot episode, the bottom gradient is (for example) red and the top on is orange. Then in the next episode the bottom gradient is orange and the top is yellow or something. Wonder what it will look like if all the thumbnails get stacked on top of each other? Anyways that the detail I thought this video was about

i always thought the thumbnail preview gif was the moment that was "most similar" to the thumbnail, colorwise. That would explain why the bluest thumbnail (tpot 5) immediately shows winner covering the screen, and why most thumbnails with a pastel-green background show the same moment from the intro where it is greener. maybe, since the thumbnails color grading is so different from the episodes themselves, the intros are what UA-cams vision decides to focus on. usually, if the thumbnail is just a frame from the video and you roll over, the gif plays exactly the part of the video where that frame appears. if you think about this feature as an anti-clickbait tactic, it makes sense! though it could just be a coincidence I've noticed

Justa thought but it might be because people are skipping all the way _to_ the intro, not rewatching it. For example many sponsored videos have their "Most replayed" peak right at the end of the sponsor, cause people skip the sponsor to the real beginning of the video.
